Hmm…are the sportsbooks missing something here? Do they not realize that Tony Parker (ankle) isn’t playing tonight? I like the Grizzlies’ chances at an upset. Remember when Memphis was a “desperate” team, relying on Allen Iverson to fill seats? That seems an eternity ago, as the Grizz have won seven of eight. They’ve beaten some legit teams over that stretch, including Phoenix, Oklahoma City, Orlando and San Antonio – with Tony Parker.
It seems Zach Randolph is becoming the player people hoped he’d be when he was a first-round pick with Portland nine years ago. He leads the NBA in offensive rebounding and just earned his first career All-star selection as a Western Conference reserve. Even at home, I don’t trust the reeling Spurs tonight.
