Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Preview

On the season the Warriors are 55-44-1 ATS and they have an O/U record of 43-56-1 and the Cavaliers are 49-50 ATS and they have an O/U record of 40-58-1.

This season the Cavaliers are 38-11 at home and the Warriors are 33-16 on the road.

In Game 3 of this series the Cavaliers beat the Warriors 96-91.

No Kyrie Irving no problem, as he has missed the last 2 games of the series, which the Cavs have won to take a 2-1 lead. Cleveland has won the last 4 games with him on the sidelines, but even after winning the last 2 games and they are at home tonight they are still a 2.5-point underdog.

James has broken the NBA record for most points scored in the first 3 games of a finals’ series and he went for 40 in Game 3. However, while he was a major factor, obviously, in the win the team won with their defense, which held Golden State to 40% shooting.

In Game 3 Matthew Dellavedova, who was treated for dehydration after the game, played great defense on Stephen Curry and chimed in with 20 points. Curry scored 17 of his 27 points in the 4th quarter of Game 3, but 3 turnovers killed the Warriors comeback chances. While Curry went for 27 former Splash Brother Klay Thomson was only 6/16 from the floor for 14 points.

The Warriors need Curry and Thomson to hit the 3 and get out on the break getting easy points, which they did not do in Game 3 with only 4 fast-break points.

James has not had the best shooting last couple of games, but he is putting up big numbers and getting to the free throw line often. The Warriors cannot stop him, but it is key that they shoot the rock better and keep the role players for Cleveland from having big scoring games.

Golden State has only averaged 97.3 ppg in this series after averaging 110 ppg in the regular season. They have to get out and score, as the lower the score the more it favors the defensive minded Cavs.

The Warriors lost 2 straight games to the Grizzlies in the Western Conference semifinals before iwnning 3 straight where they averaged over 102 ppg.

4* Cappers NBA Free Pick

I think James is on a mission and he will not be stopped. This will be another close game and the Cavs will not only cover the spread, but they will win as well taking a 3-1 lead in the series.
