Miami had some trouble scoring early in Game 3, but it was none other than Jesus Shuttlesworth coming alive late to will the team to a victory. Ray Allen hit all four of his shots from beyond the arc in the final quarter, finishing the game with 16 points.

LeBron James was his usual dominant self, scoring a game-high 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting, and filling out his stat line with seven assists, five rebounds, and four steals. Dwyane Wade also continued his rejuvenated performance, scoring 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting.

Wade knocked down 9-of-16 shots from the field, including two of three from beyond the arc. He also racked up four assists, four rebounds, three steals, and a block. Chris Bosh was again the odd man out. He finished the game with nine points and four rebounds.

As for Indiana, they didn’t have a single scorer manage to hit the 20-point mark. Paul George led the team in scoring with 17 points, adding four assists, two rebounds, and a steal. Lance Stephenson continued his stellar play in this series. He managed to score only 10 points, but supplemented those points with 11 rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Stephenson also did the team a disservice, though, as he committed an offensive foul against LeBron James in the first quarter and proceeded to jaw at him, which only served to motivate the King. The Pacers led at the time of the incident, but were outscored by 20 points the rest of the way.

The Heat have found their groove, and they are comfortably in control of this series. After all the talk of how important home court is in this series, the Heat would love to win Game 4, giving them a 3-1 edge in the series, and an opportunity to end the series on the Pacers’ court. The Heat are 6-0 at home in the playoffs.

Additionally, the points were again there in Game 3, yet we see the total move down a half point for this one. Both teams are scoring comfortably, and given the Heat’s penchant for putting up a high point total in the fourth quarter, the possibility of a backdoor cover is always alive.

The home team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings between these teams, and the Heat are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The over is 5-1 in the Heat’s last six games overall, and it is 7-2 in the last nine meetings between these teams in Miami.

The play: Miami -6.5, Over 183.5
