ATS Matchup Insight | CappersPicks Insider Preview

Indiana (50-17) has had a much different March, starting the month with a pair of wins before going on a four -game losing skid.

Since then however, the Pacers have turned things around, winning four straight including a 99-90 win over Philadelphia on Monday.

Lance Stephenson poured in 25 points and Paul George added 24 points and eight rebounds as Indiana held on to swept the season series against the 76ers for the first time since 2003-04.

The Pacers were behind early on, as Philadelphia hit six of its first eight shots and grabbed a 15-6 lead. 4

Indiana, however, clawed its way back to within three after one quarter, and outscored the 76ers 10-2 to end the half, taking a 58-50 lead into the break.

Meanwhile, Carmelo Anthony led five players in double figures as host New York beat the Milwaukee Bucks 115-94, last time out.

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 20 points off the bench and both J.R. Smith and Amar’e Stoudemire chipped in 15 for the Knicks, whose average margin of victory during their six-game streak is 17.8 points.

After leading by eight early, New York (27-40) built up a 60-42 halftime advantage, shooting 56.4 percent from the floor in the first half.

After pushing their lead to 65-42 in the third, the Knicks coasted down the stretch, leading by as much as 25 points on several occasions, finishing off their sixth straight game with at least 107 points.

Matt’s Prediction:

The Pacers are 19-13 on the road while the Knicks most recent win pushed them to 15-20 at Madison Square Garden.

However, New York has lost both meetings with Indiana this season, including a 103-96 overtime defeat on their home court back on Nov. 20.

They Pacers needed extra time to snatch that win after a dismal outing, which included being outrebounded and shooting an anemic 37.9 percent.

And while the Kicks are doing much better as of late, unless the spread is more than 10 here, my money’s on the Pacers in this one.

Pacers 107, Knicks 102
