The Warriors have no problem scoring while the Pacers have no problem holding opponents to low point totals. Something will give come Wednesday.

Indiana

The Pacers responded well from a Kobe Bryant game winner on Sunday night with a 105-101 road victory over the Utah Jazz Monday night. Roy Hibbert scored 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the win. David West contributed with 10 points and 6 assists. It was the first time in quite a while that the Pacers got contributions from multiple players on the same night.

In order to knock off the top team in the West, the Pacers will need to do something similar to their performance Monday. Indiana has won 2 of 3 on their current 4 game road trip. Roy Hibbert has played the main part in the Pacers recent success averaging 17.3 points and 8.7 rebounds on the road trip.

Winning games for the Pacers typically comes down to their clutch defensive stops down the stretch of games. Allowing just 96.1 points a game (1st), the Pacers have allowed over 100 points just twice over their last ten games.

While they rank just 26th in scoring (94.9 PPG), Indiana has found some recent offensive success from multiple players. Hibbert, George Hill, and David West continue to put up impressive numbers as of late.

The Pacers will need to overcome the absence of George hill on Wednesday night as he will sit out with a left groin injury.

Golden State

The Warriors proved their dominance once again on Monday night in a trashing of the Oklahoma City Thunder 117-91. The Warriors had 5 players in double figures and Draymond Green contributed with a double-double scoring 11 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

The depth and bench contributions have been a major key to the Warriors success.

Scoring 108.9 points a game (2nd), the Warriors have 5 players averaging double figures in points. Leading the way is Steph Curry with 23.0 points and Klay Thompson with 21.0 points. Curry has just one game on the season that he has scored less than 10 points.

Over the last four games inside Oracle Arena, Draymond Green has continued to impress. Green is averaging a double-double with 10.3 points and 10.5 rebounds.

While the Pacers defense has been the center of attention in the NBA, Golden State’s hasn’t been too bad either. The Warriors are allowing just 98.2 points a game (10th). That number impresses even more at home, as they allow just 97.7 points.

Backers have the Warriors in Oakland have been extremely pleased as they’ve gone 11-4 ATS there.

NBA Basketball Handicapping Trends:

  • Pacers are 9-1-2 ATS in their last 12 games overall.
  • Pacers are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 Wednesday games.
  • Warriors are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
  • Warriors are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference.

Free 4* NBA Pick: Indiana +11

It’s always tough to bet against Steph Curry and the Warriors. After an emotional, dominant win over Oklahoma City last game, this has the potential to be a letdown spot for the Warriors.

Golden State 99, Indiana 94

Grabbing the points with Indiana is the way to go here, in hopes that the game is lower scoring and not a shootout.
