The Hawks just keep on winning and they’ll look to extend their winning streak Tuesday night when they visit the 76ers. Philadelphia got their 2nd win at home with a victory over Indiana last time out.

Atlanta

Nobody believed in Atlanta before the season started. Nobody believed in them when they ran off 10 wins in 11 games. Now, in the midst of an 8 game winning streak, the Hawks are getting the attention of just about everyone.

Coming off a 31 point beat down of divisional foe Washington, Atlanta sits 4 games up in the NBA Southeast standing.

Extending their in streak to 9 is quite realistic when they visit the 76ers on Tuesday.

Over a 6 week span, the Hawks have beaten the Clippers (twice), Cleveland, Dallas, Chicago, Memphis, Portland, and now Washington. They’re arguably the hottest team in the NBA along with the Golden State Warriors.

Averaging 102.9 points a game (7th), Atlanta is getting contributions from everybody. Kyle Korver has hit 8 of 10 three point attempts over his last two games and Jeff Teague and Paul Millsap continue to throw up impressive numbers.

Atlanta will look to add to an already impressive 13-5 road record on Tuesday.

Philadelphia

The 76ers come in 7-12 over their last 19 games. While on paper that looks bad, for a team like the 76ers, this is a major improvement. After dropping their first 17 games of the season, the 76ers have won 3 of 4 including wins over the Cavaliers and Nets (two current playoff teams).

Philadelphia is getting a major boost from Michael Carter-Williams since he returned from his injury. Carter-Willams is averaging 14.6 points along with 7.5 assists and 6.3 rebounds a game.

Along with Carter-Williams, PG Tony Wroten is putting up impressive stats himself. Wroten has scored double digit points in the 11 last games he’s played in, including a 20 point outburst against the Pacers.

Winners of 2 in a row, the 76ers look to build off their momentum and grab a season high 3 game winning streak.

NBA Basketball Trends:

  • Hawks are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. Eastern Conference.
  • Hawks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.
  • Hawks are 17-4 ATS in their last 21 games following a ATS win.
  • 76ers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
  • 76ers are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 2 days rest.

Free 4* NBA Basketball Pick: Atlanta -11

While Philadelphia has played much better as of late, they’re running into a smoking hot Hawks team on Tuesday. As Atlanta has dominated this series, they’ll continue that along with their 8 game winning streak.
