The Suns will play their third game of a four-game road swing on Tuesday night, having won the first two games in the trip over the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers.

Now they look to take down a New Orleans team that they have beaten four times in a row, including a sweep of the season series a year ago.

As for the Pelicans, they picked up a big victory over the San Antonio Spurs, but couldn’t carry that momentum into their next matchup. On the second night of a back-to-back, New Orleans fell to the Chicago Bulls by a score of 107-100.

That loss was the team’s second in its last three games, and they now sit two games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Anthony Davis racked up 29 points, 11 rebounds, and six blocks in his first pro game in his hometown of Chicago. Tyreke Evans chipped in 26 points, and Jrue Holiday had 19 points and seven assists in that loss to the Bulls.

Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe scored 22 points and stuffed his stat sheet with eight rebounds, eight assists, and four steals in the team’s win over the Lakers.

Goran Dragic had 24 points in that game, and Isaiah Thomas contributed 15 as the trio of point guards combined for 61 points against Los Angeles.

FREE Suns vs. Pelicans Pick:

The Suns not only come to town playing at a torrid pace, but they’ve also dominated this series, having won eight of their last 10 meetings with the Pelicans, and taking to the road hasn’t bothered the team one bit.

[dfads params=’groups=63741&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Additionally, the Suns have been scoring in bunches, filling the basket to the tune of at least 115 points in each of their last three games.

NBA Betting Trends:

  • The Suns are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against Western Conference opponents, and they are 6-0 ATS in their last six games overall.
  • The Suns are 40-8-1 ATS in their last 59 road games, and the Pelicans are 7-15-1 ATS in their last 23 games against Pacific Division opponents.
  • The over is 5-1 in the Suns’ last six game played on one day of rest, and it is 12-3 in their last 15 games against Western Conference opponents.
  • The over is 9-3 in the Pelicans’ last 12 home games, and it is 5-2 in their last seven games played on a Tuesday.

The play: Suns +2, Over 211

Going up against a Pelicans team that knows how to score in their home building, spectators should be in for a real treat with this contest.
