These teams will be meeting for the third time this season on Tuesday, with the visiting side claiming each of the first two meetings. First, the Raptors downed the Cavaliers 110-93 on Nov. 22, then the Cavaliers returned the favor with a 105-91 win in Toronto on Dec. 5.

Toronto has played its last six games without second-leading scorer DeMar DeRozan but continues to put up points, averaging 113.1 points over its last 10 games – one of the best marks in the league in that time, and are coming off a 112-107 overtime win over Denver.

Shooting guard Lou Williams scored 26 points on Monday, and power forward Patrick Patterson chipped in 19, going 5-for-7 from beyond the arc, including a crucial game-tying triple with 28 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

Points guard Kyle Lowry added 13 points on an off shooting night, matching his season-high with 13 assists. Since DeRozan went down, he’s been the one running the show, averaging 26.0 points and 9.6 assists over his last five games, earning Eastern Conference player of the week honors.

The Cavaliers snuffed out the Raptors’ offense when these teams last met. Cleveland limited Toronto to a season-low 40.7 percent shooting from the field on Friday. The Cavaliers opened the season allowing 102.7 points per game on 47.7 percent field goal shooting on a 5-7 start to the year.

Since then, they’ve limited opponents to 90.3 points on 42.6 percent shooting over the course of a seven-game winning streak, which continued in Brooklyn on Monday to close out a three-game trip.
