Golden State
The Warriors got the job done, winning both of their games at Oracle Arena to take a commanding lead in the series.

I think it is safe to say that both games were closer than expected, especially game two – a one point victory.
Still a win is a win and the Warriors now need only to win two of the next five to advance to the finals.
I haven’t done the math but I would guess that they have won at least two out of every five games all season long. I am sure someone will look it up.
In game two Steph Curry was once again the star with 33 points.

In this one they got surprise contributions from Andrew Bogut who scored 14 points – as many as he had in the last 4 games combined.
Klay Thompson is still not shooting it great but with a 2-0 record there is no reason to sweat it. Shaun Livingston was again money off the bench making all of his shots.
Houston
The Rockets are in trouble. Not only are they down 2-0 in the series but they have kind of given their best shot and still come up short.
I do fully expect them to get a boost from their fans and take a game in the series at some point and this is the one it has to be.
They know first hand how difficult it is to comeback from down 3-1 but behind down 3-0 is a totally different story. Somebody other than James Harden has to step up.
He can’t do it all by himself, even though it is close.
James Harden has had back to back games where he was just one assist short of a triple double.
Quite literally you cannot ask him to do more.
I hate to be a broken record but when is Josh Smith going to start shooting and more importantly why is he out there if all he is going to do is miss and not rebound – 1 board in 21 minutes of action for a power forward.

Coaching is critical at this stage.
