Detroit
The Pistons are bad. I thought that with their young frontcourt players and an infusion of better coaching they might rise to some degree of relevance but this team has been terrible…but could things be starting to turn after two straight victories, on the road no less.
Only time will tell but if they can nip the Clippers then maybe we have something to really talk about.

If they can make some sort of push from here on out than they have a real chance to make the playoffs in the East.
Due to the fact that Josh Smith is a maniac and not really a small forward it has been smart to bring Greg Monroe off the bench.
He just might win 6th man of the year award too with averages of 15ppg and 9rbg. He is a big and he is finisher too because he shoots the ball well from the line. Manchild Andre Drummond is owning the board but his shooting is way down this season.

He might be trying too hard to expand his game. Its noble but the results are not there.
Los Angeles
The Clippers are off to a good start but right now they are just hoping that they were within a reasonable distance when the Warriors finally cool off.
They are returning home off a less than stellar road trip as they just dropped games at Washington and at Milwaukee.
Similar to season’s past this team has no trouble putting the ball in the basket but when it comes to needing stops they are just not very good. Facing Detroit is a nice way to try and get healthy though.
Against the Bucks both of their stars, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin were off of their games. Even though this team does have talent guys like J.J. Reddick and DeAndre Jordan are the types that play off the stars, not the types to rise up and win games for you.

Jamal Crawford made an attempt off the bench but it just wasn’t enough as the Clippers let Milwaukee shoot 56% from the field. Any game they do that is going to be tough to win.
