The Cavaliers got their season pointed in the right direction by winning the final four games of their five-game home stand, getting back to two games above .500, which marks their best mark of the season. The team’s Big 3 of LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving combined for 81 points in a 111-108 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.

Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao was back in the lineup for the team on Tuesday after he missed one game with a rib injury. The team could get some more reinforcements for this won with reserve guard Matthew Dellavedova possibly ready to return from a knee injury that’s kept him out of the last 13 games.

Those would be big additions to a Cavaliers team that ranks last in the league in bench scoring, receiving all of 21.7 points per game from its reserves. Only seven Cavaliers players saw more than 10 minutes of action against the Bucks, with each member of the Big 3 seeing over 40 minutes of court time.

The Knicks won the first meeting between these teams this season, claiming a 95-90 victory in New York to spoil the Cavaliers’ regular-season opener. The Knicks won three nights later in Charlotte, but have gone 2-14 since then, losing their fifth game in a row against Brooklyn on Tuesday, falling by a score of 98-93.

FREE Cavaliers vs. Knicks Pick:

The Cavaliers figure to simply outclass the Knicks on Thursday night, as New York is simply lost at the moment. Additionally, the Knicks haven’t been able to hold their own at the offensive end with their star forward ailing, so they likely won’t hold up their end of the scoreboard, and the Cavaliers have no interest in running up the score and will just look to build up a margin and get out of town, making the under worth a look.

NBA Betting Trends:

The Knicks are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 home games, and 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games against Eastern Conference opponents.
The Cavaliers are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games against opponents with a losing home record, and the road team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings between these teams.
The under is 4-0 in the Cavaliers’ last four games following an ATS loss, and it is 5-0-1 in their last six games played on one day’s rest.
The under is 4-0 in the Knicks’ last four home games, and it is 5-1 in their last six games overall.
