The Bulls continue to adjust to like without Derrick Rose, while the Knicks haven’t had an answer as they try to find a replacement without Tyson Chandler.

The Bulls and Knicks have been two of the bigger disappointments in the NBA, and the absence of arguably their two most important players is a big reason for that.

The Knicks enter this contest having lost six in a row, while the Bulls have lost two in a row. The most recent loss for the Bulls came on Monday night when they fell to Milwaukee, 78-74.

Mike Dunleavy led the team in scoring with 24 points, knocking down two of the team’s three three-pointers on the night. Carlos Boozer had a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards.

The team was much better at the defensive end of the court, limiting Milwaukee to just 40 percent shooting from the field and just 18.2 percent shooting from three. The big difference came at the charity stripe, where the Bucks knocked down 16 of 20 shots. Big forward John Henson gave the team the most trouble, scoring 25 points on 11 of 17 shooting.

All of the Bulls’ seven steals came from just two players, four from Boozer, and three from Hinrich.

New York’s problems remained the same on Monday night in a 109-94 loss to Cleveland. The team allowed the Cavaliers to shoot 56.8 percent from the field and 47.4 percent from three.

The team had no answer for Kyrie Irvin, who scored 37 points on 14 of 23 shooting and added 11 assists. The Knicks generated only four steals in the game.

Carmelo Anthony had another solid night, leading hte team in scoring with 29 points as the Knicks shot 46 percent from the field.

Andrea Bargnani had an off night, hitting on just 5 of 17 shots, including an 0 for 3 night from three. Amar’e Stoudemire scored 15 points with five boards and two blocks off the bench.

As bad as the Bulls have played on the road this year, they still play much better fundamental basketball than the Knicks do, and that should be the difference in this one.

The Knicks are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 home games.

The Bulls are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings between these teams.
