The Charlotte Bobcats are looking for their third straight win this over the Chicago Bulls this season when the two team tangle at the United Center this Tuesday night. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. (ET) and the game will be available on NBA League Pass.

Charlotte is coming off an 88-86 win over Atlanta this past Saturday as a 7 ½-point road underdog. Heading into tonight’s matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers as a 4 ½-point home underdog, the Bobcats are 23-31 straight-up and 27-25-2 against the spread. They are in ninth-place in the Eastern Conference.

Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace remain the primary source of offense for this team. Jackson is averaging 19.2 points a game, while Wallace is pulling down a team-high 8.2 rebounds and second in scoring with 15.6 points a game. One thing to watch for is the availability of D.J. Augustin for this game. The Bobcats third leading scorer and leader in assists is currently listed as questionable with a wrist injury.

Chicago continues to roll with eight victories in its last 10 games including wins in its last two to run its record to 36-16 SU and 30-20-2 ATS. The Bulls lead Indiana by 12 games in the Central Division and have the third best record in the Eastern Conference.

This team’s success this season can be directly attributed to the phenomenal play of Derrick Rose. Rose is averaging 24.7 points, 8.1 assists, and 4.4 rebounds a game. Carlos Boozer has also been a force with 19.5 points and a team-high 10.1 rebounds a game. The Bulls are averaging 98 points a game while holding their opponents to 92.3.

Regardless of the outcome of tonight’s game against the Lakers, it will be a tall task for the Bobcats to go on the road the next night and remain competitive against a well-rested Chicago team. Take the Bulls to get the win and cover the 9 ½-points.
