NBA Betting parlay – Bulls vs. Bobcats / Mavericks vs. Grizzlies

NBA Wednesday Parlay – April 16

The NBA regular season comes to a close this Wednesday and while all 16 playoff spots have now been claimed, there are still a few lose ends that need to get tied up with the results of these final games. [ad-4468020]

I have dug deep into all the relevant matchups to release the two picks that come together perfectly to form my final ‘NBA Wednesday Parlay’ of the year.

The following is a brief look at both games based on lines by BetOnline.

Game 1: Chicago Bulls vs. Charlotte Bobcats

Pointspread: Charlotte -1
Total Line: 181.5

ATS Matchup Stats | NBA Gambling Insight!

Chicago comes into its regular season finale tied with Toronto for third place in the Eastern Conference standings with an overall straight-up record of 48-33. It needs to win this game and have the Raptors fall to New York to secure the No. 3 seed so there is still plenty on the line in this game.

The Bulls have now won eight of their last nine games SU with a profitable 6-2-1 record against the spread.

The Bobcats have won eight of their last 10 games SU but they have failed to cover in their last three games. They still have a shot at moving up to sixth in the East which would avoid a first round matchup against Miami, but they would need the Wizards to lose their game against Boston.

With both the Bulls and the Bobcats coming into this contest in excellent form as well as having something on the line in this game, I am going with the past trends in this matchup for the pick.

Chicago is 9-1 SU in the last 10 meetings and it completes the four-game season series sweep with a SU road victory on Wednesday night.

Game 2: Dallas Mavericks vs. Memphis Grizzlies

Pointspread: Memphis -3.5
Total Line: 190

ATS Matchup Stats | NBA Gambling Insight!

The seventh seed in the Western Conference playoffs is up for grabs in this Southwest Division showdown with both teams tied at 49-32 SU on the year. Dallas comes in with a 5-1 SU record in its last six games and it is 3-3 ATS.

The total has stayed UNDER in four of its last five outings including this past Saturday’s 101-98 home victory over Phoenix as a 4.5-point favorite.

The Mavericks have won their last five road games SU and they are 5-1 ATS in their last six games away from home.

Memphis is coming off a huge 97-91 win over the Suns as 4.5-point home favorites this past Monday night to finally clinch a playoff spot, so there is a risk of a letdown heading into this game.

The Grizzlies are also much more familiar with San Antonio, which would be their first round opponent should they lose this game.

I do not think Memphis will take the night off, but I see Dallas coming away with the SU win on the road after winning the previous three meetings in this season’s series.
