MLB Betting – Rockies Wrap Up Series Against Dodgers In Los Angeles
Terrible records away from home have kept both the Colorado Rockies and the Los Angeles Dodgers from making any significant ground in the National League West standings this year.
Both teams are in the double-digit minus for road record, and both are currently hovering around .500 overall, ranked third and fourth in the NL West division.
While expectations for the Rockies weren’t very high entering the 2010 season, the same cannot be said about the Dodgers who have given way to the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants for the first place spot they have occupied the past couple of years.
Now, with less than two weeks remaining on the regular season schedule, these teams clash for a shot to at least make it close for the baseball betting NL Wild Card spot.

Left-handed hurler Jorge De La Rosa steps on to the mound for Colorado looking for his second win of the month after finishing without a win or lose his last two starts while throwing consecutive three-run ball games.
Despite a relatively easy schedule the Rockies have failed to make any ground in the NL Wild Card race, going .500 over their past ten to remain six games back of a playoff position.
Colorado has struggled on the road all season, a trend that continued with a 6-0 loss to the Dodgers in the series opener, and will need a solid game from both De La Rosa and their bats in order to avoid being embarrassed again as the Denver sports focus makes the shift to bet on nfl.
Betting Preview: Dodgers
The Dodgers will counter De La Rosa with a left-handed starter of their own in veteran Ted Lilly, who has won three straight sports betting starts while allowing just four runs combined over that span. Lilly pitched a gem his last outing, going six innings while allowing just three hits and no earned runs, striking out four in the process.
The Dodgers were expected to compete for a playoff spot this year, but injuries and inconsistencies have kept manager Joe Torre’s squad from reaching its potential. Now, with a few more games at Dodgers Stadium, Los Angeles aims to narrow the gap between them and the Wild Card while impressing their home fans with some quality ball.

It is unlikely that either team will be able to catch either the Philadelphia Phillies or St. Louis Cardinals for the NL Wild Card spot, but that doesn’t mean that pride has any less meaning.
