The aces will butt heads tonight in a big divisional matchup.
Johnson has been so dominant that you’d never guess he was a Tommy John surgery survivor. His earned runs over his last five starts: one, zero, zero, zero, one. The guy has been untouchable. 
His career numbers versus the Phillies are pedestrian (4-3, 3.77 ERA) but he threw seven dominant innings against them on May 29, allowing one run – unearned.
The problem: some guy named Halladay pitched for Philly that night and tossed a perfect game.
Doc has been just what the Phillies hoped he would be this season, posting a 77-to-13 K:BB ratio and allowing just three homers in 93 innings. With both guys so unstoppable right now, the game may as well be a coin flip.
I’d argue that Halladay has been a bit more hittable of Johnson lately; he’s allowed at least eight hits in four of his last five starts.
So I’ll let that – plus Florida’s underdog value – be the tiebreaker.
