The hot Braves are probably not the team ’Zona wants to face right now. Derek Lowe, like the entire team, has found his groove. He’s allowed no more than three runs in five straight starts and he’s won four of those outings.
His sinker is also working again, as evidenced by his no homers allowed during that five-start span.
With the Braves playing great ball right now, especially reigning National League Player of the Month Troy Glaus, it seems unwise to bet against them – especially since Haren isn’t himself right now.
