Tuesday MLB Betting Parlay – Rays vs. Orioles, Tigers vs. White Sox

MLB Betting Previews- Tuesday, Sept.11 Parlay

The MLB regular season enters the second week of September with four of the six division title races still completely up in the air.

After carefully analyzing all the stats and betting trends for the pitching matchups on Tuesday’s slate of games, we have uncovered two games that set-up as the perfect two-team parlay.

Game 1- Tampa Bay Rays vs. Baltimore Orioles
Money Line: Tampa Bay +115 Baltimore -125
Total Line: 8

Matt Moore will get the call for Tampa Bay in Game 1 of this crucial three-game set in the AL East. The left-hander is 10-9 this season with a 3.66 ERA. He gave up six runs (four earned) on eight hits last Wednesday against New York to drop his second-straight decision in as many starts.

Moore is 2-1 with a 2.12 ERA against the Orioles.

Baltimore will send Miguel Gonzalez to the mound on Tuesday night. He has lost two of his last three starts to fall to 6-4 on the year. The right-hander continues to pitch well with an overall ERA of 3.62 and has not given-up more than four earned runs in eight of his last 10 starts.

The Rays are 9-2 in the first game of their last 11 series and 13-6 in their last 19 games on the road. The Orioles are 15-6 in their last 21 games at home and 5-0 in Game 1 of their last five series. The slight edge in this contest goes to Tampa Bay, given its two previous victories over Baltimore this season with Moore getting the start. [dfads params=’groups=10&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Count on Tuesday night being its third.

Game 2- Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox
Money Line: Detroit +105 Chicago -115
Total Line: 8.5

The Tigers are slated to go with Doug Fister for Tuesday’s Game 2 of this crucial AL Central four-game showdown. The right-hander held Chicago to two earned runs on four hits but did not get the decision back on Aug.31. In his only start since then, he gave-up just one earned run on four hits to the Indians last Wednesday.

Overall, Fister is 8-8 with an ERA of 3.54.

Chicago will counter with Jake Peavy on Tuesday night. He is 10-10 on the year with a 3.22 ERA. The right-hander posted his first victory in his last six starts this past Wednesday by holding Minnesota to just one earned run on five hits in six innings of work.

Peavy is 3-4 against the Tigers with a 4.81 ERA.

Detroit is 8-3 in Fister’s last 11 starts, while Chicago is 2-6 in its last eight games against a right-handed starter. The Tigers are 13-6 in their last 19 games on the road against the White Sox and a perfect 4-0 against them when Peavy has gotten the start.

Look for Detroit to wrap-up the back-end of this parlay with the win on Tuesday night.
