Bet the 2010 World Series now at betED.com

We’ve arrived at the halfway point of the Major League Baseball season and now would be a great time to make some early picks for the 2010 World Series.

And it should come as no surprise that the defending World Series champion New York Yankees are favored to repeat at +300 in World Series Odds at betED.com.

The Yankees have the best record in baseball at 51-31 SU and lead the AL East division by two games over the second-place Tampa Bay Rays, and are 2.5 games ahead of the third-place Boston Red Sox.

The Red Sox, who are 49-34 SU, are at +600, while the Rays are at +975.

The St. Louis Cardinals, who sit second in the NL Central at 45-37 SU, two games back of the leading Cincinnati Reds, are at +825, while the Reds are way back at +2500.

The Atlanta Braves, who lead the NL East with a 48-35 SU record, two games up on the second-place New York Mets, are at +975 to win the 2010 Fall Classic. The Texas Rangers, who are first-place in the AL West with a 48-34 SU record, are next at +1100, as are the Philadelphia Phillies, who are 43-38 SU so far this season.

The Yankees are at +185 to win the American League Pennant, followed by the Red Sox at +355 and the Rangers at +450.

The Cardinals are the favorites to win the National League title at +300. The Braves are at +375 and the Phillies are at +415.
