Auburn Trying To Deal Vanderbilt First Loss
Auburn has one glaring loss to LSU, albeit a tight one, on their otherwise strong SU record. Against the spread, they are still 1-4 ATS on the season because of their inability to drive up the point differential against their opponents. A win against Vanderbilt will not only push them well in to the top-10, it will stop these wild Vanderbilt train dead in its tracks.
The Vanderbilt Commodores are 4-0 ATS and SU this season, behind a 29.8 points per game average. They have marched a ground game forward that is ranked 25th in the country with 202.0 yards per game on the ground. With the Commodores’ quarterback, Chris Nickson, nursing a shoulder injury, the game will fall in to the hands of the rushing game. Auburn gives up on only 92.2 yards against on the ground.

On the road, neither will be able to prove that they are worth the consideration as Vanderbilt keeps this game close.
