Betting on the NFL preseason may seem like a losing proposition to many bettors, but if you take some things into account it increases your chance to win. Just because the starters do not play the whole game and the preseason games do not really mean anything it does not mean that there are not things to look for when checking out NFL preseason odds.

Another tip on watching coaches is that, unlike the regular season, in the preseason they will tell the media how much star players, generally the QB and RB, will play. You may find out what team will rest their starters and teams will play their starters for most of the first half.
