2009 March Madness Basketball Future Odds – NCAA Final 4 Lines
The NCAA Tournament is down to the Final Four. All four teams have won national championships before and look to cut down the nets again. The Big East is represented well with 2 teams and the Big 10 and ACC are each represented by a team. Great guard play will be on display in Detroit while a few potential Hall of Fame coaches will be patrolling the sideline.

Jordan and Magic will be in the house, but will they go home happy?
Here is how I see it playing out.
North Carolina -175 – North Carolina has the most talent and depth out of the 4 teams. Ty Lawson is the key factor in the domination of opponents in this year’s tournament. UNC has proven to play a few un-inspired games this year. A hot shooting performance by Villanova could knock them out in the semi-finals.
Connecticut +225 – Connecticut’s big men should be able to dominate Michigan State in the semi-final game. With Thabeet in the middle they should be able to contain penetration by the Michigan State guards. Connecticut has had issues with key players getting in foul trouble. If Goran Suton can take advantage of this fact it could spell trouble for Jim Calhoun’s Huskies.
Villanova +500 – Villanova’s guard play has been outstanding. If they can hit shots from the perimeter they have a shot to win the title. They are undersized inside and I think Hansbrough will take advantage. If they can get by UNC I like their chances.
Michigan State +550 – Michigan State plays the best defense of the remaining field. If Lucas and Walton are hitting from the perimeter look out. I don’t think they will get the same performance out of Goran Suton as earlier in the tournament. I think they will struggle to get by Connecticut but never count out Tom Izzo.
Final Four – March Madness Prediction
Bottom line is the winner of the North Carolina/Villanova game will win the National Championship.
With that being said, I think North Carolina will win easily and Roy Williams will deliver UNC a second title under his direction.
