Sophomore quarterback Matt Scott completed 14 of 20 passes for 150 yards with one touchdown and one interception while junior running back Nicholas Grigsby rushed for 207 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns.

The Hawkeyes cashed in for BetUS NCAA college football betting members as 6.5-point favorites, while the final score played Under the 47.5-point O/U total.

NCAAF Betting Odds

Arizona +5 -110
Iowa -5 -110
Over 41 -110
Under 41 -110

Analysis: I’m a bit surprised that Iowa isn’t favored by a few more points as they are clearly the better team in this matchup and are playing at home in this contest.

Junior quarterback Ricky Stanzi is a player that doesn’t get much national recognition but certainly knows how to run an offense and manage a game.

While the Arizona Wildcats have gone 6-1 ATS in their last seven games as an underdog and 6-2 ATS versus a team with a winning record, I like the Iowa Hawkeyes to deliver a message in this contest as they’ve posted a spotless 5-0 ATS record in their last five games against a team with a winning record while also going 5-1 ATS in their last six games as a favorite.

One of the reasons I don’t have a lot of confidence in the Arizona Wildcats is the fact that they’ve gone 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and just 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games against Big Ten opponents.

While the Hawkeyes have recorded a stellar 4-1 ATS mark in their last five games, the Wildcats have struggled to cover the spread recently, going just 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall.

In addition to playing the Wildcats in this contest, I also like the Under as it has gone a perfect 4-0 in Arizona’s last four games overall and 13-3 in Iowa’s last 16 non-conference games.
