Cappers Eagles vs. Deamon Deacons Betting Trends + Pick

In Week 13 CFB betting action the Boston College Eagles play the Wake Forest Demon Deacons this week, we preview and pick this matchup…

High-Flying Boston College Eagles Visit Inconsistent Wake Forest

The Boston College Eagles (7-3 SU, 5-4 ATS, 5-4 O/U) have won two straight games, covering the spread each time for BetUS NCAA college football bettors. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons (6-4 SU, 4-6 ATS, 4-6 O/U) and BetUS NCAA football sports betting fanatics everywhere saw their two-game winning streak snapped on Saturday.

Now, both teams will be trying to pick up a win on Saturday when they battle at Groves Stadium.

The Eagles are coming off a convincing 27-17 win over Florida State, covering the spread as 7-point road underdogs in the process.

Quarterback Chris Crane completed 14 of 26 passes for 181 yards with one touchdown and one interception and running back Montel Harris added 121 rushing yards and one touchdown on 25 carries.

“I wanted to show Florida State and their fans how I could play,” said Harris who is from nearby Jacksonville but wasn’t recruited by the Seminoles.

The Eagles picked off Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder three times and held the Seminoles to just 73 yards rushing.

“When you can’t run the football it throws everything at your quarterback,” Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden said. “When you can’t run the ball you ain’t got nothing.”

The Demon Deacons fell to the North Carolina State Wolfpack, losing 21-17 as quarterback Riley Skinner completed 21 of 33 passes for 176 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Running back Brandon Pendergrass was held to 72 yards on 16 carries while failing to cover the spread as 7.5-point road favorites.

Wake Forest -2 -110

Analysis: These two teams are evenly matched in almost every area which leads me to believe this is going to be a classic ‘field goal’ game. Take the Wake Forest demon Deacons to narrowly cover the spread by winning this matchup at home.
