Cappers Bearcats vs. Cardinals Betting Trends + Pick

In Week 12 NCAA-F the 22nd-ranked Cincinnati Bearcats (7-2 SU, 4-4 ATS, 4-4 O/U) battle the Louisville Cardinals (5-4 SU, 4-4 ATS, 3-5 O/U), we preview and pick this matchup.

Louisville Looks to Snap Modest Skid against No. 22 Cincinnati

The 22nd-ranked Cincinnati Bearcats (7-2 SU, 4-4 ATS, 4-4 O/U) have won two straight games in the BetUS Sportsbook. The Louisville Cardinals (5-4 SU, 4-4 ATS, 3-5 O/U) have dropped each of their last two contests for NCAA college football sports betting buffs.

The Bearcats are coming off two impressive straight up and ATS wins and will look to extend their current streak – as well as Cincinnati’s – on Friday when they battle at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

Cincinnati recorded a thrilling 26-23 victory over West Virginia, winning in overtime on quarterback Tony Pike’s 2-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Kazeem Alli in overtime to cover the spread as 10-point road underdogs in the BetUS Sportsbook.

Just one week after knocking off then-No. 24 South Florida 24-10 on Oct. 30, Pike completed 15-of-30 passes for 165 yards and rushed for one touchdown in addition to the game-winning touchdown pas while running back Jacob Ramsey added 83 rushing yards on 18 carries.

Now, the Bearcats take on the Cardinals as they look to end a five-game losing streak against Louisville while continuing their push for their first Big East title.

“A lesser team would’ve folded under those circumstances,” second-year Cincinnati coach Brian Kelly said. “It was just a great football game, one that we knew that we had to win if we wanted to talk about being a Big East contender.”

Cincinnati will take on a Louisville team that has dropped two consecutive games and put on a pitiful display in its 41-7 road loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Quarterback Hunter Cantwell completed 15-of-28 pass attempts for 164 yards with one touchdown and one interception but the Cardinals committed four fumbles, losing three of them while failing to cover the spread as 6.5-point road underdogs.

“We’re 5-4 and two weeks ago everybody loved us. Now, nobody loves us,” Louisville coach Steve Kragthorpe said. “That’s the nature of this business and the nature of football.”

Cantwell had one lateral pass scooped up and returned for a score, was twice replaced by redshirt freshman Matt Simms, who completed 4 of 10 passes for 39 yards.

Here is a look at the key trends for each team, followed by my in-depth analysis and NCAA-F Odds:

Analysis: The Cardinals clearly aren’t what they used to be! I’ll keep this pick short and get right to the point by saying that I fully expect the Cincinnati Bearcats to end their long losing streak to Louisville despite being on the road in this matchup.

Don’t let the ½-point scare you NCAA college football bettors, take the Bearcats to win handily.
