NCAAF Free Picks Analysis – Fighting Illini Host Hawkeyes in Lock

The Iowa Hawkeyes (5-3 SU, 5-2 ATS, 2-5 O/U) are coming off two emphatic routs of Big Ten opponents in their last two games.

The Illinois Fighting Illini (4-4 SU, 3-4 ATS, 4-3 O/) have alternated wins and losses in each of their last six games.

BetUS online sports betting fanatics will get a solid dose of NCAA football when the two teams take the field on Saturday when they battle at Memorial Stadium.

The Hawkeyes pounded the Wisconsin Badgers 38-16 at home on Oct. 18 after routing the Indiana Hoosiers on the road 45-9 one week earlier when they snapped a three-game losing streak in the BetUS Sportsbook.

While quarterback Richard Stanzi posted modest, but solid passing statistics, going 11-for-18 for 114 yards and one touchdown, it was halfback Shonn Greene that really torched the Badgers by rushing for 217 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries to help Iowa easily cover the spread as 5.5-point home favorites.

The Fighting Illini are coming off a convincing 27-17 loss on Saturday to the same Badgers team that Iowa trashed just one week prior.

Illinois quarterback Juice Williams completed just 17 of 32 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns but negated those statistics by tossing three interceptions as Illinois failed to cover as 2.5-point road underdogs.

NCAAF Odds

Iowa +2½ -110
Illinois -2½ -110

Analysis: I have absolutely no idea why this point spread is so low, but I am advising all BetUS sports betting enthusiasts to take the Hawkeyes to absolutely destroy the overmatched Fighting Illini despite being on the road in this matchup.

I know the Fighting Illini are due for a victory this week if they stick to their, ‘win one-lose one’ trend this season, but I fully believe the Hawkeyes are the better team in this matchup and are going to make Illinois pay in this contest.
