NCAA Football Week 12 Moneylines

The Wolfpack pulled through for us last week, so finally a profitable weekend after three consecutive break-even Saturdays. Let’s keep it going?

Record: 28-14 (+5.1)

Florida Gators (-1500) @ South Carolina Gamecocks

Rivalries will be renewed as the Florida Gators head to South Carolina to face the ‘ol ball coach – their ‘ol ball coach – Steve Spurrier. South Carolina has played well recently, winning six of their last seven games, but they haven’t faced anyone like Florida.

Florida is absolutely peaking right now and everything is clicking on full cylinders. While the Gamecocks might have a comparable defense, their offense is light years behind Tim Tebow and his crew. If South Carolina falls behind early, they won’t have the weapons to come back.

Pick: Florida -1500

California Golden Bears (+140) @ Oregon State Beavers

Believe it or not, the Oregon State Beavers control their own destiny in the Pac 10. If they win their final three games, they will be playing in the Rose Bowl and USC will be playing in a small, insignificant bowl.

Next up for the Beavers is a stiff test against California. Oregon State has been living off of cream puffs like Washington, Washington State and UCLA. They barely squeaked by Arizona State at home but that won’t happen against this weekend. Cal is a veteran team who is getting better weekly and should be able to pull this one out.

Pick: California +140

Louisiana Monroe Warhawks @ Mississippi Rebels (-1300)

Sometimes you have to worry about a big conference school playing a non-conference game in the middle of their schedule but not in this case. Ole Miss will take a break from their SEC play to welcome UL Monroe but don’t look for Ole Miss to look past this game.

Mississippi is at five wins and needs one more to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2003. Ole Miss’s defense is stifling but their offense has been pretty good as well. They are averaging 26.1 points per game, which is fifth in the SEC.

This is the third meeting between the two schools and in the previous two meetings, Ole Miss won by a combined score of 90-17.

Pick: Ole Miss -1300

North Carolina Tar Heels @ Maryland Terrapins (+127)

Maryland is being written off because of a nationally televised loss to Virginia Tech last week but not to worry, they are still an ACC contender. As a matter of fact, who isn’t?

This is a must-win game for the Terrapins and sports betting sharps should be aware of that. With a win, Maryland is back in the race, especially with a win over ACC-leader North Carolina.

The Terps ground game was shutdown last week but expect that to pick up this week at home. UNC is a Top 25 team and Maryland will be gunning for them with a season-defining effort on Saturday.

Pick: Maryland +125
