Titans vs. Colts Betting Trends + Pick Wk 17

Preview and Week 17 NFL cappers matchup tips for this weeks Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts matchup, plus an NFL Betting Preview, a look at the gambling trends, and a free pick…

NFL Betting Analysis Titans @ Colts

The Tennessee Titans (13-2 SU, 12-3 ATS, 8-7 O/U) are coming off their biggest win of the season as they get prepared fro what they hope will be an extended postseason run. The Indianapolis Colts (11-4 SU, 7-7-1 ATS, 8-7 O/U) have won eight consecutive games in the BetUS Sportsbook, but have been spotty at best in covering the spread for BetUS NFL sports betting buffs.

On Sunday, divisional bragging rights will be on the line when the Titans and Colts meet at Lucas Oil Stadium in their regular season finale.

The Titans recorded a convincing 31-14 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16, easily covering the spread for NFL sports betting backers as a 3-point home underdog last week.

Veteran quarterback Kerry Collins completed 20 o 29 passes for 216 yards with one touchdown for Tennessee while wide receiver Justin Gage hauled in five passes for 104 yards and one touchdown. Running backs Chris Johnson and LenDale White also added touchdown runs.

“This was not a statement game by no means,” Fisher said. “It was a momentum game. We needed to build momentum for the playoffs and the bye week by playing well and winning the game. The bonus is the second game here at home.”

Rookie defensive lineman Jason Jones, who started in place of injured All-Pro Albert Haynesworth, had 3 1/2 sacks and forced all of Roethlisberger’s fumbles.

“The effort we got out of that group was nothing less than spectacular,” Fisher said.

Indianapolis scored 17 points in the fourth quarter to rally for a 31-24 victory over Jacksonville in Week 16. Indianapolis covered the spread for backers as a 6-point road favorite in the BetUS Sportsbook as quarterback Peyton Manning threw three touchdowns and completed 29-of-34 pass attempts for 364 yards in the win.

Manning led the Colts back from deficits of 14-0 and 24-14.

“Peyton Manning is unbelievable,” Colts head coach Tony Dungy said. “He put a lot of it on his shoulders and kept us in it. He played unbelievably under the circumstances.

“All in all, with everything that was riding on it … it was a great performance. It was an MVP performance for sure.”

Analysis: The Colts are playing excellent football at the moment, but I still don’t think they’re in the same class as the Titans this season. With both teams likely pulling their starters at some point in the second half, as they hope to avoid injury heading into the playoffs, I say take the Colts to narrowly win this matchup and cover the spread.
