Preview and Week 11 NFL cappers matchup tips for this weeks St. Louis Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers matchup, plus an NFL Betting Preview, a look at the gambling trends, plus a free pick…

Beleaguered NFC West Teams Meet as 49ers Host Rams in Week 11 Action

The St. Louis Rams, (2-7, 3-6 ATS, 5-4 O/U) have looked really bad in dropping their last three games in the BetUS Sportsbook. However, their struggles are nothing in comparison to the San Francisco 49ers’, (2-7, 3-6 ATS, 5-3-1 O/U) losers of six straight games.

The NFC West division rivals will both be looking to snap their losing streaks for BetUS NG+FL sports betting buffs in this matchup at Candlestick Park.

The Rams lost to the New York Jets 47-3 on Sunday, failing to cover the spread as a 9.5-point road underdog in Week 10.

Starting quarterback Marc Bulger completed just 6 of 13 passes for 65 yards and got benched for the second half. Backup Trent Green wasn’t much better, going 5-for-10 for only 70 yards. Running back Kenneth Darby added 32 rushing yards on four carries but the Rams were overwhelmed by Jets running back Thomas Jones who torched them for 149 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries.

“I didn’t take Marc out because he was playing bad,” Haslett said. “I took him out because we were behind.”

“We are not getting the job done on offense and that falls on the quarterback,” Bulger said. “Whether I have to throw it 60 times next week or 30 or back up, whatever it takes to help our team win, I’m willing to take that role.”

The 49ers lost to the Arizona Cardinals 29-24 as quarterback Shaun Hill went 19-of-40 for 217 yards with two touchdowns and two costly interceptions on Monday night.

“It’s tough, but it’s time to get ready for St. Louis,” Hill told the team’s official Web site.

The 49ers managed to cover for sports betting backers as 11-point road underdogs but were torched by Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner for 328 yards and three touchdowns.

The 49ers had a chance to win, reaching the 2-yard line with just seconds remaining before seeing fullback Michael Robinson stuffed on the game’s final play.

“That was definitely one of the most frustrating losses I can remember in my 15 or 16 years playing football,” San Francisco center Eric Heitmann said.

Here is a look at the key trends for each team, followed by my in-depth analysis and NFL Free Picks:

The Rams are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.
The Rams are 6-2 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
The 49ers are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
The 49ers are 3-7 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
The Over is 5-0 in Rams last 5 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
The Over is 5-1 in 49ers last 6 games following a S.U. loss.
The Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
The Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in San Francisco.
The Rams are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 meetings in San Francisco.

NFL Odds

St. Louis Rams +6 -110
San Francisco 49ers -6 -110

Over 44 -110
Under 44 -110

Analysis: Two defenseless teams make me believe the Over is the best play for this matchup! I don’t see either team winning this game by a touchdown, so I say take the 49ers and the points to cover, likely by winning outright at home.
