Cappers Raiders vs. Dolphins Betting Trends + Pick

Preview and Week 11 NFL cappers matchup tips for this weeks Oakland Raiders and the Miami Dolphins matchup, plus an NFL Betting Preview, a look at the gambling trends, plus a free pick…

Blossoming Dolphins Host Bumbling Raiders

The young Miami Dolphins (5-4 SU, 5-4 ATS, 4-5 O/U) are on a roll, having won three straight games for BetUS NFL sports betting backers! The same can’t be said for the struggling Oakland Raiders (2-7 SU, 3-6 ATS, 4-5 O/U) who have dropped three consecutive games in the BetUS Sportsbook.

Miami will try to keep its impressive winning streak alive while handing the Raiders another loss when they battle at Dolphin Stadium in this showdown.

The Dolphins defeated the Seattle Seahawks 21-19 but failed to cover the spread as a 7.5-point favorite in Week 10. Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington continued his strong play, completing 22 of 36 passes for 209 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

“I think we are building confidence in ourselves and the ability to win,” Pennington said. “Instead of having a feeling of ‘here we go again’ when things don’t go our way, we focus on switching the vibe and switching the momentum.”

Former rushing champion Ricky Williams had a breakout game, rushing for 105 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries. Wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. caught four passes for 67 yards with one touchdown.

“At the beginning of the season, no one probably expected it,” Williams said. “But we knew we had something special here.”

The Raiders looked pitiful in losing to the Carolina Panthers 17-6 as a 10-point home underdog in Week 10. Quarterback Andrew Walter completed just 14 of 32 passes for 143 yards, but threw two interceptions and no touchdowns.

“I’ve got to manufacture some ways to score,” interim coach Tom Cable said. “I like the players we got. Are we getting them in the best position to do it? That’s really what I’ve been looking at.”

Running back Justin Fargas rushed for 89 yards on 22 carries but the Raiders couldn’t contain Carolina running back DeAngelo Williams who rushed for 140 yards on 19 carries with one touchdown.

“We got to find a way to get Derrick Burgess back out and get Darren McFadden back out,” Cable said. “Two guys who we think can give us a boost on both sides of the ball. We’re not making any plays on offense in terms of a playmaker, an explosive-type play. We have to hopefully get those guys back as soon as possible and hopefully this is the week for Darren to be back.”

Here is a look at the key trends for each team, followed by my in-depth analysis and NFL Free Picks:

NFL Odds

Oakland Raiders +10½ -110
Miami Dolphins -10½ -110

Over 38½ -110
Under 38½ -110

Analysis: The Dolphins have been playing excellent football during their current streak, finding all sorts of ways to win, but I don’t see them routing the Raiders in this matchup despite the fact that they are playing at home.

Oakland picked off Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme four times last week and should be able to keep the score close against the Dolphins.

Take the Raiders to cover and the Over in this contest.
