Preview and Week 12 NFL cappers matchup tips for this weeks New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins matchup, plus an NFL Betting Preview, a look at the gambling trends, plus a free pick…

Streaking Dolphins Host Struggling Patriots

The Miami Dolphins, (6-4, 5-5 ATS, 4-6 O/U) are on fire BetUS NFL sports betting members! The New England Patriots, (6-4, 5-5 ATS, 3-6-1 O/U) are struggling with two losses in their last three contests.

The longtime AFC East rivals will face off at Dolphin Stadium in a surprisingly important contest that will give the winner, either a tie of first place or sole possession of second place in the hotly contested AFC East.

Just one season after winning just one game, the Dolphins have flourished under head of football operations, Bill Parcells and head coach Tony Sparano.

“This is why we do what we do. We put ourselves in position to have a big game at home at the end of November. That’s where we are,” Sparano said. “That being said, I don’t think too much has to be said this week.”

The Dolphins have won four straight games in the BetUS Sportsbook, including a narrow 17-15 win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, failing to cover the spread as a 10-point home favorite as I predicted in the BetUS Locker Room in Week 11.

Quarterback Chad Pennington completed 16 of 22 passes for 174 yards while running back Ronnie Brown rushed 16 times for 101 yards.

“To have an opponent like that and win, it showed we had grown as a team,” Brown said.

Wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. caught four passes for 51 yards and rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown on two carries.

Outspoken Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter commented on the upcoming matchup against new England.

“This should be the first time I see our stadium sold out,” Porter said. “I’ve been here a year and a half and still haven’t seen the place sold out. This matchup should definitely get us to that level.”

The Patriots are coming off a thrilling 34-31 overtime loss to Brett Favre and the New York Jets on Thursday, failing to cover the spread as a 3-point home favorite.

Quarterback Matt Cassel became the first NFL player in history to throw for 400 yards and rush for 60 yards in the same game. Cassel completed 30 of 51 passes for 451 yards and three touchdowns in the loss.

Analysis: The Dolphins have been winning for a reason NFL sports betting fraternity – excellent defense. Miami has been playing outstanding defense during their four-game run and that won’t change against the Patriots.

Miami’s offense has also found a way to get the job done when necessary and should be able to put enough points on the board to give Miami its biggest win in over two years.

Take the Dolphins to cover in what looks like a classic field goal game to me.
