Cappers Giants vs. Eagles Betting Trends + Pick

Preview and Week 10 NFL cappers matchup tips for this week’s Sunday Night Football Giants vs. Eagles matchup, plus an NFL Betting Preview, a look at the gambling trends, plus a free pick…

Philadelphia Eagles Host New York Giants in Big NFC East Matchup

The Philadelphia Eagles (5-3 SU, 6-2 ATS, 3-5 O/U) have won three consecutive games in the BetUS Sportsbook. The New York Giants (7-1 SU, 6-2 ATS, 5-3 O/U) have also won three straight games for BetUS NFL sports betting backers.

The longtime NFC East rivals will meet at Lincoln Financial Stadium on Sunday in a contest that could pull the Eagles within one game of the NFC’s best team.

Philadelphia is coming off a convincing 26-7 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday in which they dominated the game’s final three quarters.

After giving up a 90-yard touchdown less than two minutes into their road contest, the Eagles had their way against the dismal Seahawks. Quarterback Donovan McNabb completed 28 of 43 passes for 349 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, hooking up with tight end Brent Celek six times for 131 yards.

Philadelphia’s blitz-happy defense also sacked Seahawks quarterback Seneca Wallace a whopping six times while holding their foes to a miniscule 86 rushing yards in covering as 7-point road favorites.

Eagles’ head coach Andy Reid knows his team is in for a tough battle against the Giants.

“I think they are as good as they’ve ever been,” Reid said. “They are playing very well as a team both offensively and defensively. You would think that their defense lost a little bit with the retirement of Michael (Strahan) and the injuries, primarily Osi (Umenyiora), but I don’t see that. I see other guys have stepped up.”

The Giants man-handled the struggling Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, winning 35-14 as quarterback Eli Manning completed 16 of 27 passes for 147 yards and three touchdowns and behemoth running back Brandon Jacobs rushed for 117 yards and one touchdown on 17 carries.

“We are trying to improve every week. We have a lot of drive in us,” quarterback Eli Manning said. “We know that we have a tough road ahead of us and it is matter of we have to keep playing at a high level.”

New York’s powerful defense also recorded three interceptions and four sacks in the rout of another longtime NFC East rival while covering the spread for online NFL sports betting enthusiasts as 9.5-point home favorites.

Analysis: The Eagles desperately wants to win this game and prove they belong in the same elite class as the Giants and something tells me they will get it despite not actually being as good as new York on either side of the football!

I know that sound like a big old oxymoron, but I believe the Eagles will win this game at home by a field goal before getting an emphatic ‘smackdown’ handed to them by the Giants when they meet again in New York on Dec. 7.

Don’t’ worry Giants fans, a loss here will only fuel the Giants’ to kick some you-know-what over the second half of their regular season schedule as they gear up for another strong postseason run.

Take the Birds and the Over in this matchup, NFL nuts!
