Cappers Chiefs vs. Chargers Betting Trends + Pick

Preview and Week 10 NFL cappers matchup tips for this week’s KC Chiefs vs. San Diego Chargers matchup, plus an NFL Betting Preview, a look at the gambling trends, plus a free pick…

Disappointing Chargers Look to Snap Skid against Chiefs

The San Diego Chargers (3-5 SU, 3-4-1 ATS, 5-3 O/U) got a much-needed bye last week after dropping their last contest on Oct. 26 and three of four overall. The Kansas City Chiefs (1-7 SU, 4-4 ATS, 5-3 O/U) could seriously use a break as well, dropping four straight games in the BetUS Sportsbook.

Both struggling AFC rivals need a win badly as they get set to square off as at Qualcomm Stadium on Sunday.

The Chargers lost to the New Orleans Saints 37-32 as a 3-point underdog in London in Week 8 despite putting on a strong offensive performance led by quarterback Philip Rivers who completed 25 of 40 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns.

Unfortunately, the Charges allowed New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees to complete 30 of 41 passes for 339 yards and three touchdowns. Still, at 3-5 the Chargers have an excellent chance at winning their division.

“I think we realize we’re in a very tough position right now,” defensive end Luis Castillo said. “But at the same time, the attitude is we realize there’s hope, because it’s a lot tougher to be 3-5 in a division where you’re four or five games behind already.”

Linebackers coach Ron Rivera was promoted to replace Ted Cottrell, who was fired two days after the loss in London.

The Chiefs are coming off a close 30-27 home loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which they were held to just three points in the second half and gave up 17 after going into the half up 24-13.

“We still have to learn how to finish the game,” coach Herm Edwards said. “We have to make plays in certain parts of the game that you need to make. I think that comes with some experience.”

Kansas City did manage to cover the spread as a 9.5-point underdog in Week 9 as young quarterback Tyler Thigpen completed 14 of 25 passes for 164 yards and one touchdown and running back Jamaal Charles added 106 rushing yards on 18 carries.

Analysis: I think this pick is pretty easy for NFL bettors!

The Chiefs are facing a desperate Chargers team that wants to do some damage in the season’s second-half. However, the Chiefs are playing pretty solid football, particularly on the defensive end and should be able to cover this high pints spread.

Take the Chiefs to cover the spread in a loss.
