Surprising Bills Will Need to Contain Raider Rushing
The Buffalo Bills (2-0 SU, 2-0 ATS, 1-1 O/U) are for real BetUS Sportsbook online NFL wagering enthusiasts!!
While I am not saying they’re going to win the AFC this year, I am saying I believe they will be legitimate contenders in what looks like a wide open race for the conference crown this season.
After spanking the Seattle Seahawks 34-10 at home in their season opener, the Bills surprised one of the top AFC contenders this season by beating the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-16 on Sunday.
The Bills have overwhelmed both of their opponents with a smothering defense that is allowing just 247.5 yards per game, (7th), while stopping both, the run and pass equally well, ranking 10th and 11th in those categories respectively. Buffalo is also ranked eight in points per game, averaging 27.0 per contest.
The Oakland Raiders (1-1 SU, 1-1 ATS, 1-1 O/U) may not have looked like juggernauts in beating the atrocious Kansas City Chiefs on the road 23-8 on Sunday, but the young team managed to get past all of its recent off-field drama to secure their first victory of the 2008 season.
While young quarterback JaMarcus Russell struggled to throw the ball effectively for the second consecutive week, going just 6-for-17 for 55 yards, the Raiders managed to pound out a whopping 300 yards on the ground with first round draft pick Darren McFadden rumbling for 164 yards and one touchdown and fellow running back Michael Bush adding another 90 and a touchdown of his own.

Analysis: I’ll get right to the gist of it with this pick NFL bettors by saying I fully expect the Buffalo Bills to win this game and cover the 8 1/2 –point spread. While the Raiders have one of the best rushing attacks in football, the unimpressive play of quarterback JaMarcus Russell will cost the Raiders against good teams this season as it did in their Week One blowout at the hands of the Denver Broncos. Take the Bills to cover and the Over NFL bettors.
