2008 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl
The Hawaii Bowl is typically played on either Christmas Day or Christmas Eve, the game matches teams from either Conference USA or the Pac-10 vs. WAC member schools.
The University of Notre Dame has accepted an invitation to play in the 2008 SHERATON HAWAI‘I BOWL. Notre Dame executed a bit of a juke in the bowl process Sunday, accepting a bid to the Dec. 24 Hawaii Bowl against Hawaii. It was an at-large opening that materialized only Saturday night, when Arizona beat Arizona State. Hawaii (7-6) tied for second in the Western Athletic Conference, losing to four Top 25 teams.
