UFC 92 THE ULTIMATE

UFC 92 is here and the bad blood is about to boil over in a serious way. Three huge fights headline the card, and BetUS.com sportsbook is here to provide the knowledge you need to make the smart plays. An Axe Murderer will try to stop a Rampage.    The man broken by fate tries to return to his throne against a Minotauro. One reality TV star tries to beat the living crap out of another. This is UFC 92, and if you want to talk to some fight-savvy account managers, look no further than my UFC account manager of choice. Call Brett x2342 at 1-888-51-BETUS and he’ll set you up with all the tools and know-how you need to get set for The Ultimate.

Wanderlai Silva vs. Quinton Jackson

Rampage Jackson’s career in the UFC has been nothing short of a letdown. Jackson came in and stomped through Cuck Liddell, but couldn’t parlay that in to anything more after dropping a decision to Forrest Griffin. Rampage has the chance to shake a lot of demons by vanquishing Silva. The main problem? He’s already lost to the Axe Murderer twice in Pride.

These guys absolutely despise one another, so we’re in for a blood bath…unless Silva decides to demolish Jackson with his knees or control him with the dreaded clinch. The last news that we heard out of Quinton Jackson was him getting pulled over for reckless driving while trying to evade police in a car that had a giant poster of his ugly mug on the side of it. Rampage hasn’t made the best decisions lately, and stepping back in to the ring with a guy that owns him is just keeping that track record alive.

Free Pick: Silva by brutal knockout

Frank Mir vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

Frank Mir’s career took a horrific turn for the worst when he was T-Boned on his motorcycle, snapping his femur in two. Sixteen months of rehab later and Mir is fighting to prove that he is still a heavyweight contender. He wins 63% of his fights by knockout and is notorious for dropping Brock Lesnar with a tactful knee bar.

Mir will have to use his extensive knowledge of Jiu Jitsu to control this fight. Nogueira is a huge fighter, who many want to see battle Brock Lesnar. People are leaning on Nogueira because he’s a proven winner, but his last two fights have proven how vulnerable he is to a knock out.

If Mir wants to prove he is really back, toppling the mighty Nogueira is going to have to part of the deal. Mir finally looks like himself, so if you were the type of gambler who was ready to hand the heavyweight division to Frank Mir in 2004,then you can rest assured that Mir is ready for his triumphant return to stardom. That is, of course, if he doesn’t get gassed early on…

Free Pick: Mir by knockout

Rashad Evans vs. Forrest Griffin

It’s the battle of Ultimate Fighter Season 1 and Season 2! Griffin is coming off the massive win over Rampage, which anointed him as the unexpected champion. But Rashad gave himself a name recently by knocking the heavily favored Chuck Liddell out cold, handing The Iceman a taste of his own, bitter medicine.

As far as fights go, this one is impossible to predict.

Griffin is a proven warrior who is known to go the distance. He learned a harsh lesson when he was stunned by Keith Jardine, since then, he has been diligent and focused and with a championship belt around his waits, don’t expect Griffin to go down without a fight. He’s long, smart, patience and powerful – all tools he can use with his insane tolerance for pain to defend his championship.

While Rashad is a tactical wrestler who is just learning the striking game, Griffin is the reliable betting commodity here. Bet on Forrest to prove his mettle against one of the smarter fighters out there in the light-heavyweight division. Rashad may try to out-wrestle Griffin, but Forrest’s striking is going to be too much.

Free Pick: Griffin by split decision
