Below is a collection of players that fit that bill. Take a gander at Dave B’s Week 9 Waiver Wire and leave a message to tell me what you think!

QBs

Andy Dalton – Cincinnati Bengals – Dalton is a bye-week fill in only but this rookie has been playing some solid ball! He has passed for multiple touchdowns in two of his last three games and has an incredible chemistry with AJ Green. He likely won’t win you a Fantasy week, but he won’t lose it for you either.

Tavaris Jackson – Seattle Seahawks – Jackson has clearly emerged as the go-to-QB in Seattle. If he wasn’t injured in New York in Week 5, he may have easily passed for 300+ yards. That would make of three 300+ yards performances in a row. Seattle has no running game – Jackson HAS TO throw the ball. The Hawks are in Dallas this week against a banged up and vulnerable Cowboys team.

Sam Bradford – St. Louis Rams – Many of you dropped Bradford after a brutal start to the season. But things are looking up for the Rams. Bradford will be healthy and he gets the honour of taking on the Cardinals this week. Bradford has an easy schedule down the stretch – he may be worth a shot!

RBs

Javon Ringer – Tennessee Titans – It looks like it is time to cut ties with Chris Johnson – seriously! CJ2K had 51 yards on 17 touches on Sunday – Ringer had 102 yards on 19 touches. It is clear who the favourite back is in Tennessee and who is the more effective one!

Roy Helu – Washington Redskins – Ryan Torain was absolutely brutal in Week 8 – will Mike Shanahan finally give Helu a chance to carry the load? Best guess is that Helu is the starter is Washington by season’s end and could reward his owners.

Tashard Choice – Washington Redskins – That’s right – Choice was picked up on waivers from the Cowboys. Choice gets a second lease on life in Washington. The trick is to make the most of it!

Maurice Morris – Detroit Lions –  Jahvid Best doesn’t look like he will be returning any time soon and after auditioning a number of backs in Week 8, Morris was by far the best of the bunch. I didn’t like him all that much before but after Week 8, I acknowledge that he is the best option for the Lions.

Others to Monitor: Kregg Lumpkin, Lance Ball, Chris Ogbonnaya [ad-8469823]

WRs

Titus Young – Detroit Lions – Young is on a bye this week but had a good Week 8 – 4 catches, 66 yards and a score. While tantalizing on the outside, consider that Young in the fourth option on the Lions – he will continue to be maddening inconsistent. Take a shot if you are a gambling man!

Michael Crabtree – San Francisco 49ers – Crabtree has finally emerged as the 49ers best receiving option. He has at least five catches in three of the last four weeks and he finally scored his first touchdown on Sunday. Crabtree is a legitimate WR1 on his team and a WR3 for Fantasy purposes – not many of those out on the waiver wire.

Damian Williams – Tennessee Titans – the Titans coaching staff loves this guy but injuries have slowed him so far this season. Well, he`s healthy now as demonstrated but 5 catches, 60 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. In the right matchup, Williams could be valuable.

Greg Salas – St. Louis Rams – Salas appears to have taken over the slot receiver role in St. Louis for good! That means potential PPR gold especially when Sam Bradford is able to return. Salas caught five balls for 47 yards with AJ Feeley at the helm – Salas and an easy schedule should make him look even better than that!

Others to Monitor – Ben Obomanu, Doug Baldwin, Antonio Brown, Emanuel Sanders, Steve Breaston

TEs

Brent Celek – Philadelphia Eagles – Celek has become a big part of the Philadelphia offense all of a sudden! In his last 2 games he has 11 catches 134 yards and two scores combined. Celek is the best TE add this week among a ton of good Waiver Wire additions

Scott Chandler – Buffalo Bills – Were you one of the many that dropped Chandler after his hot start and brutal middle stretch of the season? Well, it may be time to reclaim Chandler based on his two touchdown performance on Sunday. Chandler could be Buffalo’s top Red Zone target going forward.

Other to monitor – Marcedes Lewis, Heath Miller, Donald Lee, Zach Miller

Defense

Atlanta Falcons – They have Indianapolis on the schedule this week – nuff said!
