Week 4 of the NFL season is almost in the books and with that, some true Studs emerged to help their teams while a fair share of Duds also surfaced.

Enjoy Dave B`s Week 4 Studs and Duds and if I missed anyone, feel free to weigh in!

Studs of the Week:

Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers – Well, this is a game that could make him an absolute legend! Rodgers had one of the better games in memory! 408 yards passing with four touchdowns along with 36 rushing yards and two scores makes Rodgers an obvious Stud of the Week – Amazing!

Beanie Wells – Arizona Cardinals – Welcome back Beanie! After sitting out last week, Wells erupted for 138 yards rushing and three scores!

Other Studs:

QBs

Michael Vick – Philadelphia Eagles – Vick was nearly Stud of the Week with 408 yards passing, two touchdowns, along with 75 yards rushing. An amazing game by a total Stud.

Cam Newton – Carolina Panthers – This dude has been incredible and nearly has Rookie of the Year wrapped up in Week 4. Newton had 374 yards passing and a touchdown while adding 35 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Eli Manning – New York Giants – Manning led his team back from the brink and made his way to the Stud list. Manning had 321 yards passing and two touchdowns on Sunday.

RBs

Arian Foster – Houston Texans – Foster came back to the lineup in a huge way. He was a virtual one-man wrecking crew ripping off 166 total yards and a touchdown. Foster’s studly ways are back!

Matt Forte – Chicago Bears – Hey Chicago – how ‘bout paying Mr. Forte? He is the only reason that team is competitive this season. On Sunday he had 205 yards rushing and a touchdown along with four catches for 23 yards. Stud!

Ryan Torain – Washington Redskins – Welcome back to the Stud column Ryan! On Sunday, Torain came out of nowhere and registered 135 yards and a touchdown in a Washington win.

WRs

Steve Smith – Carolina Panthers – Smith had a bit of a down week last week but has returned to the Stud column with a bang. He had 8 catches, 181 yards and a TD on Sunday!

Hakeem Nicks – New York Giants – Nicks was unstoppable on Sunday guiding his team to a come-from-behind win. Nicks had 10 grabs, 162 yards and a touchdown in a true Stud performance.

DeSean Jackson – Philadelphia Eagles – Jackson was huge on Sunday but unfortunately his team lost. Jackson had 6 catches for 171 yards in what was by far his best performance of the season. [ad-8469823]

Wes Welker – New England Patriots – No shock here! Welker was a beast again in Week 4. 9 catches, 158 yards and a touchdown = amazing!

Honourable Mention: Dwayne Bowe, Jimmy Graham, Eric Decker, Brandon Lloyd, Greg Jennings, Julio Jones,

Duds of the Week:

Jay Cutler – Chicago Bears – Cutler was aided by a huge rushing day from Matt Forte but only managed 102 yards passing, ZERO touchdowns and one interception on the way to becoming Dud of the Week.

Mark Sanchez – New York Jets – Brutal! Zero touchdowns, one interception and three lost fumbles? Thanks for the 119 yards passing Dud!

Other Duds:

QBs

Ben Roethlisberger – Pittsburgh Steelers – Big Ben had a bad day in a loss to Houston. 206 yards passing, ZERO touchdowns and one interception makes Roethlisberger a Dud is Week 4.

Matt Schaub – Houston Texans – Schaub didn`t need to do a whole lot but 138 yards passing and one touchdown is still a Dud performance.

Ryan Fitzpatrick – Buffalo Bills – See ya later perfect season! Fitzpatrick had just 199 yards passing and no scores in a substandard Week 4 game.

Dishonourable Mention: Sam Bradford, Rex Grossman, Joe Flacco

RBs

Rashard Mendenhall – Pittsburgh Steelers – Mendenhall has been brutal this season as demonstrated by his Week 4 performance. 25 yards on the ground and one touchdown is further proof.

LeSean McCoy – Philadelphia Eagles – McCoy had just 18 yards rushing in a total Dud performance. 34 yards receiving and a touchdown through the air salvaged what was a bad day but he is still a Week 4 Dud.

Ahmad Bradshaw – New York Giants – Bradshaw had 15 touches on Sunday and only managed 50 combined yards in what should have been an easy matchup.

Dishonourable Mention: Shonn Greene

WRs

Rob Gronkowski – New England Patriots – Gronk should have had a superb afternoon but only managed 1 catch for 15 yards against Oakland. He was a very unexpected Dud!

Mario Manningham – New York Giants – Manningham returned to the lineup on Sunday but you would hardly know it. One catch for 10 yards lands Manningham on the Dud list.

Hines Ward – Pittsburgh Steelers – Ward`s fantasy relevance appears to be waning in a big way this season. One catch for 11 yards is further proof.
