HOT + NOT For Week 15 Fantasy Football

Looking for Internet Fantasy Predictions then look no further than our Dave B our fantasy expert weighing in on weekly fantasy football topics for Week 15 action…

HOT AND NOT WEEK 15

If you are in need of a HOT fantasy football player these Top Hot players for the week should help you out if they’re in your lineup. They may also be free agents on your waiver wire.

If you need to dump a lame duck on your team, these NOTS should be them. Throw em in the trash if you can afford to not have them on your bench. Fantasy Football always favors the prepared mind.

The more research you do, and the more HOT players you have to choose from on your team, the better your odds are of winning your fantasy football league outright this year.

After all of the weekly games are finished be sure to check our waiver wire column, studs and duds, a who’s hot, and who’s not report plus more in our fantasy football guide.

Fantasy playoff time – anyone have Aaron Rodgers starting for you this week? If you did, like me, you are probably OUT of your Fantasy playoffs. If I had ANY of these HOT players I would have probably moved on. Oh well, that’s Fantasy Football.

So here is my somewhat bitter edition of Week 14’s HOT AND NOT list.

HOT

Drew Brees – New Orleans – The road to perfection continues this upcoming week against Dallas before a game with Tampa Bay. Both are very beatable teams with suspect secondaries. Brees has 13 touchdowns and only 1 interception in his last 4 games and his scorching pace should continue until the end of the season.

Tony Romo – Dallas – Tony certainly is not the reason for the Cowboys slide in December. He’s been hot, throwing for 7 touchdown and 0 interceptions in his last 3 games. He also has 2 300 yard games over that span. He’ll continue to be in shootout games (against New Orleans. Washington and Philadelphia), so his numbers could keep the Fantasy world smiling.

Jason Campbell – Washington – That’s right, Campbell is HOT. It’s weird for me to even say that, but the numbers don’t lie. 7 touchdowns over his last 3 games and looking good doing so. Jason might have saved his job for next season with his solid play the last 3 weeks. Games against the Giants and Cowboys are up next and they scare absolutely noone.

Chris Johnson – Tennessee – Fantasy Stud of the Year – I can’t remember anyone having this kind of year. He’s simply unstoppable. Another 176 combined yards and 3 tds. in Week 14not bad at all!!

Jamaal Charles – Kansas City – This guy has become THE OFFENSE in Kansas City. Not only is he putting up Top 10 RB numbers, he’s catching the ball for some big yardage. Week 14’s 181 yards combined means Charles is HOT.

Ricky Williams – Miami – Williams is playing well and WILL see the bulk of the load im Miami. He’s a lock for at least 100 combined yards and a score every week.

Wes Welker – New England – Welker is averaging almost 10 catches per game over his last 8!! Unreal! He’s got Buffalo and Jacksonville up next – the dude is smokin HOT.

Brandon Marshall – Denver – In Week 14, Marshall had 21 catches!! 200 yards and 2 tds. He has scored at least a td. in each of his last 2 games and with Oakland up next – Marshall should remain scorching.

Andre Johnson – Houston -Matt Schaub is looking his way often and that spells good news for Johnson. He had more receiving yards than a handful of teams had passing yards in Week 14 and with St. Louis on the slate, I don’t see it slowing down.

Fred Davis – Washington – Not too many Tight Ends can say that they have scored in 3 straight games. Davis is the obvious Red Zone target for a suddenly good Washington Offense. – HOT!!

NOT

Carson Palmer – Cincinnati – It’s pretty hard to believe that Palmer has not thrown more than 1 touchdown in his last 6 games and has thrown 0 tds. in 2 of those 6. Last week’s 94 yard passing effort officially takes Palmer off of the Fantasy radar and puts him in a category of one of the biggest disappointments this year.

Matt Hasselbeck – Seattle – What has happened to the Seattle passing game. With of TJ Houmanzadeh, Nate Burleson, and John Carlson, the Hawks should have a good passing game. Right? Wrong!!! Hasselbeck has 5 tds. in his last 6 games. He and the Seattle passing game are NOT HOT.

Matt Cassel – Kansas City – Absolutely Ice cold right now, Cassel has 0 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in his last 2 games. Brought into Kansas City to save the franchise, Cassel looks to be keeping that Offense down. After all, Running Back Jamaal Charles is ripping up the league right now behind the same Offensive line that Cassel is throwing behind.

Marion Barber – Dallas – Not much has gone right for Barber this year. He hasn’t scored since Week 8 and hasn’t rushed for over 100 yards since Week 2!!! Add in the fact that Barber isn’t much of a factor in the Cowboys passing game and Barber id NOT HOT.

Maurice Jones-Drew – Jacksonville – There’s no question that Jones-Drew is an elite talent, but his numbers alone would suggest otherwise. MJD hadn’t topped 76 yards rushing in his last 4 games and seems to be wearing down.

Matt Forte – Chicago – Had 2 good games this year. 1 against Cleveland, and 1 against St. Louis. He’s been awful the rest of the year.

Tampa Bay RBS – If you were still relying on the Bucs RBS to be productive, the ship sailed weeks and weeks ago. Cadillac Williams, Derrick Ward and Earnest Graham are simply awful right now.

Reggie Wayne – Indianapolis – When he’s HOT, he can lead a Fantasy team. Wayne certainly has not been HOT over his last 3 games. He’s averaging under 4 catches per game and just over 36 yards. You can’t keep a good man down, but there’s little doubt that at this point, Wayne is unfortunately NOT HOT.

Jerricho Cotchery – NY Jets – I don’t exactly know what I was expecting from Cotchery but he’s had 2 – 1catch games out of his last 3. He’s averaging 35 yards receiving over his last 3 games and therefore is NOT HOT.

TJ Houshmandzadeh – Seattle – Housh is on a sinking ship in Seattle. He hasn’t scored in 5 weeks and is averaging almost 35 yards per game over his last 4. Disappointing indeed.
