The Fantasy playoffs are in full swing and there are some key injuries to a few reliable Fantasy Studs to consider. If you are relying on Aaron Rodgers or Matt Cassel this week, it may be time to consult the Waiver Wire for some help.

There are some intriguing options this week, so study hard, and choose right and good luck in Week 15!

QBs

Alex Smith – San Francisco 49ers – I will be the first to say that I am not a huge fan of Smith but he shut me up a bit on Sunday. He threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns and looks to be the man in San Francisco for the rest of the season. He’s got a tough game this week against the Chargers but the Rams and the Cardinals are up next.

Tavarris Jackson – Minnesota Vikings – Jackson looked absolutely atrocious in Week 14 but he will get his chance for the rest of the season by the looks of it. With Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin, Visanthe Shiancoe and Adrian Peterson, there is no reason he can’t be successful.

Jason Campbell – Oakland Raiders – Campbell passed for 324 yards and two scores in Week 14 and now he’s got back-to-back games against the woeful Denver Broncos on the slate.

RBs

Ryan Torain – Washington Redskins – Torain returned from a hamstring injury and proved that he is a factor. If he has been dropped in your league, pick him up now. He went for 182 combined yards on Sunday and has beatable Dallas and Jacksonville on the schedule.

Tim Hightower – Arizona Cardinals – There is no doubt about who the number 1 RB in Arizona is now. Beanie Wells looks to be done! Hightower rumbled for 148 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday and has the Panthers and Cowboys up next!

Anthony Dixon – San Francisco 49ers – Dixon is the number 1 RB in San Francisco and out-touched Brian Westbrook 14-9 on Sunday. He’s got a tough matchup this week against San Diego but then faces St. Louis and Arizona. Sports Betting at Sportsbook.com

WRs

Arrelious Benn – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Benn has been a prospect all season long but he may have finally gained legitimate Fantasy relevance on Sunday. He had four catches for 122 yards and now has the honour of facing the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks secondaries!

Louis Murphy – Oakland Raiders – Murphy is another guy that made some noise early in the season but disappeared. He’s back and on Sunday, he caught six passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.

David Nelson – Buffalo Bills – Nelson figures to take over from Lee Evans as Ryan Fitzpatrick’s #2 option in a decent Buffalo passing offense. He ain’t great but neither is Lee Evans and Evans had some good Fantasy performances this season.

Others to Monitor – Ruvell Martin – Seattle Seahawks

TEs

Andrew Quarless – Green Bay Packers – Quarless has continued the Packers’ tradition of strong Tight End play. He led all Packer receivers on Sunday with five catches and 61 yards. If Matt Flynn is Green Bay’s quarterback, Quarless will be a busy man!

Randy McMichael – San Diego Chargers – There is a decent chance that Antonio Gates could sit out a game or two more – he’s that banged up! Enter Randy McMichael who has filled in admirably and could be a force going forward.

Owen Daniels – Houston Texans – He’s back and with a game under his belt, he could easily be the best pick up this week.

Defense

St. Louis Rams – They will definitely be a play if Matt Cassel sits again this week. They play a Chiefs team that generated 69 total yards last week – 19 yards passing!

Arizona Cardinals – This unit had been decent up until the last month or so. They get sacks and turnovers and will play the worst offensive team in the NFL this week – the Panthers.
