Below is a list of potential players available on your Waiver Wire. It is rumored that Matt Cassel and Matt Schaub have been lost for the season – interesting developments indeed.

Take a good looks and choose wisely and most importantly enjoy Dave B’s Week 11 Waiver Wire.

I hope I can help!

QBs

Carson Palmer – Oakland Raiders – It is officially time to call Palmer a Fantasy starter. After a slow start to his time in Oakland, he has averaged 315 yards passing in his last two games and has thrown 5 touchdowns. We’ll excuse the 4 interceptions knowing that will be better from week to week. Palmer has weapons and he apparently knows how to use them!

Tyler Palko – KC Chiefs – Matt Cassel will reportedly require surgery in his hand and will likely miss the remainder of the season. Palko is a downgrade from Cassel for sure. In other words, avoid if possible!

Matt Leinart – Houston Texans – Matt Schaub is reportedly done for the season and needs surgery on his foot. When the Texans emerge from their bye after Week 11, Leinart will be in charge of a pretty good offense. If desperate, Leinart could be a decent pickup even in smaller leagues.

Others to Monitor: Dan Orlovsky, Matt Moore, John Skelton

RBs

Kendall Hunter – San Francisco 49ers – Frank Gore sustained a knee injury on Sunday to go along with ankle and other foot injuries. There is a decent chance that he misses next week. At very, very least, pick Hunter up as a handcuff for a team that will run the ball for sure for the rest of the season.

Lance Ball – Denver Broncos – Willis McGahee was banged up on Sunday and was Knowshon Moreno is gone for the season. Lance Ball becomes the starter if McGahee can’t go in Week 11. Ball had 96 yards on 30 carries in a win in Week 10 proving that he could be an OK add – only if the other two are ruled out for Week 11.

Donald Brown –Indianapolis Colts – Brown has taken over the RB duties over for the Colts and he has looked OK doing so. Brown, for the second week in a row out-touched his counterparts by a wide margin. Brown had 18 combined touches for 65 yards on Sunday – not great but not terrible either.

WRs

Laurent Robinson – Dallas Cowboys – Robinson is an absolute must-add if he isn’t already taken in your league. He will fill in for Miles Austin for at least a couple of more weeks and is Tony Romo’s favourite Red Zone target at the moment. He is likely the best waiver wire addition for the second week in a row. [ad-8469823]

Harry Douglas – Atlanta Falcons – Julio Jones re-injured his hamstring on Sunday and Harry Douglas stepped up in a big way in his place. Douglas has 8 catches for 113 yards to lead his team on Sunday and if Jones is forced to miss time, Douglas could be a good WR3 for the foreseeable future.

Damian Williams – Tennessee Titans – Williams has supplanted Nate Washington as the most effective receiver in Tennessee. Matt Hasselbeck loves this guy as demonstrated by his 5 catch 107 yards, 1 touchdown game on Sunday. He is a low-end WR3 going forward.

Denaruis Moore – Oakland Raiders – Somebody will emerge as Carson Palmer’s favourite target! It appears as though Moore has the inside track on that. Need proof? How is 5 catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns? Moore will be a hot add this week even though it is difficult to imagine him duplicating this effort.

Vincent Brown – San Diego Chargers – Brown has been terrific over the last couple of weeks filling in for Malcolm Floyd. Floyd is a notoriously slow healer meaning that Brown could be a factor for al little while longer yet!

TEs

Ed Dickson – Baltimore Ravens – Ed Dickson caught a career-high 10 passes for 79 yards and two touchdowns in the Ravens’ Week 10 loss to Seattle. Although he hasn’t scored since Week 1, Dickson has proven to be a valuable part of the Ravens offense and is worth a look!

Jake Ballard – NY Giants – Ballard only caught 3 passes for 35 yards this week but he has been solid over the past six games. He has Philadelphia on deck which is a very juicy matchup for a Tight End.

Others to monitor – Delane Walker, Brent Celek, Jacob Tamme

Defense

Jacksonville Jaguars – The Jags have quietly posted Top 10 stats in almost every defensive category this season. Now they face the offensively challenged Cleveland Browns. They are more than just a matchup based defense – they are an every week starter.

New England Patriots – The Pats still have one of the worst defences in the game but they looked awfully good against the Jets. Sacks, turnovers and limited yardage should be the order of the day this week against the Chiefs who will likely start Tyler Palko at quarterback. Who? That’s what I mean!
