Looking for Internet Fantasy Predictions then look no further than our Dave B our fantasy expert weighing in on weekly fantasy football topics for Week 10 action…

HOT AND NOT WEEK 10

If you are in need of a HOT fantasy football player these Top Hot players for the week should help you out if they’re in your lineup. They may also be free agents on your waiver wire.

If you need to dump a lame duck on your team, these NOTS should be them. Throw em in the trash if you can afford to not have them on your bench. Fantasy Football always favors the prepared mind.

The more research you do, and the more HOT players you have to choose from on your team, the better your odds are of winning your fantasy football league outright this year.

After all of the weekly games are finished be sure to check our waiver wire column, studs and duds, a who’s hot, and who’s not report plus more in our fantasy football guide.

HEY FANTASY FOOTBALLERS!!!! EVER BET ON AN NFL GAME???? TRY OUR EXPERT PICKS!! —–>

Another Week of the NFL is over and, typically, we witnessed some incredible performances, while at the same time, observed some efforts that made us wanna throw our salsa at the TV. Like in Weeks past a lot of the HOT players are return customers. However, the absence of Buffalo, Oakland, St. Louis and Cleveland (on byes) made it a little more difficult to create my NOT HOT list. Hot and Not, remember, takes into account the performances of players over a few week span and excludes 1 game wonders (Greg Olsen).

Here then, is the Week 10 Hot and Not list.

HOT

1. Peyton Manning – Indianapolis – Manning has thrown for at least 300 yards in 7 of the 8 games that he has played this year. He’s on form to regain his NFL MVP crown for sure and right now is the Hottest QB in Football.

2. Tom Brady – New England – Has 3 straight 300 yard games and has thrown for 10 touchdowns over that span. He’s heating up folks and the rest of the NFL should be shaking in their cleats.

3. Kurt Warner – Arizona – A 5 touchdown performance will get you mentioned in the Hot column every time. Last week’s performance has sent notice to the league that “the Old Man” is not dead. Seattle and St. Louis are next on the schedule, so I’d imagine that we will see Warner on this list for the next few weeks.

4. Tony Romo – Dallas – Romo is not only putting up great passing numbers (306 yd. average in his last 4 games), but he is taking care of the football too. Since Week 2, Romo has only thrown 2 interceptions while racking up 9 tds. over that span. Romo is heating up along with the rest of his Dallas team.

5. Michael Turner – Atlanta – Simply on fire right now. Turner has gone over 150 yards rushing in his last 2 games and has scored 3 times. Turner is the true centerpiece of a pretty balanced Offense, and isn’t disappointing when he gets his touches. Yes folks, Turner’s HOT.

6. DeAngelo Williams – Carolina – Absolutely the HOTTEST player in the NFL right now. Williams has been at the 150 yard rushing mark in 3 of his last 4 games – I can’t remember off hand when the last time that I saw that. Williams is single handedly keeping his team in games. The Big Play is his friend and all Fantasy owners’ friend too!

7. Cedric Benson – Cincinnati – This guy is plain – getting it done. Benson has been a beast this year and is poised to be the most worked back that we have seen in a long time. The Bengals are literally riding Benson like a mule and he’s not slowing down. Touchdowns in his last 4 game and 2, 100 yard rushing performances against a Baltimore team that NEVER gives up 100yards on the ground means that Benson is Hot Hot Hot.

8. Chris Johnson – Tennessee – Is there a more dynamic Back in the NFL? He has averaged 181 yards and 2 tds. in his last 2 games – NUTS!!!

9. New England Wide Receivers – Randy Moss is averaging 115 yards in his last 3 games and has scored 4 times during the streak. Wes Welker has averaged almost 10 catches, 114 yards and 1 td. in his last 3 games. The Patriots’ Wide Receivers are on fire right now and there’s no reason to see them slowing down any time soon.

10. Larry Fitzgerald – Arizona – Who doesn’t love Larry Fitzgerald? All he does is produce, and with Anquan Boldin injured and running his mouth, it appears that Fitz will be leaned upon heavily against the suspect Defenses of Seattle and St. Louis.

11. Vincent Jackson – San Diego – Jackson represents something that Philip Rivers has never really had in San Diego – a reliable, sure handed weapon that is MONEY when the game is on the line. 4 tds. in his last 3 games and over 100 yards in 2 of those vaults Jackson to elite status in the NFL and guarantees his position on the HOT list.

NOT

1. Eli Manning – NY Giants – 4 straight losses have produced many questions in Giants land. Manning has failed to reach 250 yards passing in his last 5 games, with 7 tds. and 6 interceptions during that span. It’s clear that the 100 million dollar man is in a slump and is worthy of being called NOT HOT.

2. Kyle Orton – Denver – Now that’s more like the Kyle Orton that Football fans have become used to over the past few seasons. His Hot start couldn’t continue. In his last 2 games, Orton has failed to eclipse 225 yards passing, he hasn’t thrown a td. pass and has thrown 3 interceptions. Orton is NOT HOT right now and if it wasn’t for Brandon Marshall, he’d be in a deep freeze.

3. Jake Delhomme – Carolina – Whew, what can I say. 5 touchdowns and 13 touchdowns on the year so far and 1 td. in the last 3. With one of the most talented receivers in the league and one of the most potent rushing attacks in the NFL, something is missing in Carolina. Ya – it’s the lack of heat at the QB position.

4. Jason Campbell – Washington – Dud – no way to sugar coat it. Campbell just isn’t the answer for the Redskins. He is totally lost on the field right now, and the only reason that he still has a job is because his backup Todd Collins is 10X worse. Enjoy your last year as a starter Jason – you will be a career backup in 2010 and beyond.

5. Steve Slaton – Houston – I was one of those who thought that last week’s benching was just temporary, but I was wrong. He has gone from an unquestioned starter in Houston to a fill-in Running Back. As long as Slaton appears on only 1/8 of his team’s Offensive plays, he’ll obviously remain NOT HOT.

6. Ronnie Brown – Miami – After a great 1st 4 games of the year, Brown’s production has tailed off big time. He has rushed for an average of 41 yards over his last 3 games. Although upcoming games against the Bucs, Panthers, and Bills should be better, there is no denying that right now, Ronnie Brown is NOT HOT.

7. Carnell Williams -Tampa Bay – From Feel Good Story to the Not Hot Column. It can happen that fast!! Cadillac had 34 yards rushing in Week 8 and followed that up with 56 yards in Week 9. The team seems to be getting better, but Caddy seems stuck in the snow.

8. Brandon Jacobs – NY Giants – Jacobs looks simply ordinary right now. He hasn’t even come close to 100 yards rushing in his last 6 games and only has 1 td. to show for it in those games. Jacobs is definitely slumping right now, but one thing is for sure – it can only get better.

9. LaDainian Tomlinson – San Diego – I’m tired of beating up on this guy. We all know that he has lost his touch and is destined to play Arena Ball next year

10. Calvin Johnson – Detroit – Ugh!! Everyone was eagerly awaiting Johnson’s return from injury. After a 2 game absence, Johnson’s timing and game shape are clearly off. Week 9’s 2 catch 27 yard performace is proof and until Johnson can string together some inpressive outings, he’s remain NOT HOT.

11. Santana Moss – Washington – This guy has all the tools in the world and some days can look like a top tier Wide Receiver. In his last 4 games, Moss has been held without a td. while gaining over 50 yards just once.

12. Torry Holt – Jacksonville – Holt was brought in by the Jags to solidify a questionable receiving corp. He was to be The Man. Except for 1 good outing this year (Week 6), Holt has been a major diappointment. 6 catches and 54 yards combined in the last 2 games – I smell a retirement speech!

13. Johnny Knox – Chicago – A Waiver Wire darling at the beginning of the year, Knox definitely made some noise. Since Week 2 however, Knox has failed to reach 45 yards receiving in a game. He’s truly NOT HOT.
