Hot and Not – Week 13

If you are in need of a HOT fantasy football player these Top Hot players for the week should help you out if they’re in your lineup. They may also be free agents on your waiver wire.

If you need to dump a lame duck on your team, these NOTS should be them. Throw em in the trash if you can afford to not have them on your bench. Fantasy Football always favors the prepared mind.

The more research you do, and the more HOT players you have to choose from on your team, the better your odds are of winning your fantasy football league outright this year.

Hot

QBs

Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers – It is hard to believe that a guy that throws as much as Rodgers does hasn’t thrown an interception in his last four games! In his last four, he has averaged 276 yards passing and he has thrown 8 touchdowns – HOT.

Michael Vick – Philadelphia Eagles – Vick’s numbers are staggering. Even though the Eagles lost in Week 12, he had a superb statistical game. In Vick’s last four games, he has averaged 285.5 yards passing per game, has thrown seven touchdowns and only one interception. Oh ya, in those four games, he has averaged 58 yards per game rushing and he has scored four times!

Sam Bradford – St. Louis Rams – Are you loving Bradford yet? Against Denver, he passed for 308 yards and three touchdowns. In his last four games, Bradford has tossed 8 TDs and only one interception – all with a rag-tag bunch of receivers!

RBs

Arian Foster – Houston Texans – Foster has become the Fantasy MVP this season and has been a yardage monster. It is rare that a running back is a huge part of the offense even when a team is losing but Foster is. In his last four games Foster is averaging 102.5 yards rushing and 52 yards receiving while scoring five times over that span.

Peyton Hillis – Cleveland Browns – Add Peyton Hillis to the long line of players the Broncos should have never let go. Hillis scored three times last week and rumbled for 131 yards. In his last four games, Hillis is averaging 111.3 yards rushing and 55 yards receiving per game, scoring seven touchdowns along the way – That’s HOT (Sorry Paris Hilton).

Michael Turner – Atlanta Falcons – Turner has been over 100 yards rushing in three of his last four games. In those three, he has scored four touchdowns – HOT!

Maurice Jones-Drew – Jacksonville Jaguars – MJD has been over 100 yards rushing in four straight games and has scored three touchdowns during the streak. He’s getting the ball and he’s not disappointing!

WRs

Dwayne Bowe – Kansas City Chiefs – Bowe is simply sizzling – I can`t remember a HOT streak like this one. In his last three games, Bowe is averaging 155 yards receiving and he has scored seven times– amazing!

Greg Jennings – Green Bay Packers – Jennings has been over 100 yards receiving in his last two game and although he didn`t score against the Falcons, he did put up some nice stats. Jennings has scored four times in his last three and is the best weapon in an incredible passing offense – HOT.

Wes Welker – New England Patriots – Finally Mr. Welker has shown up. He is becoming a big part of the Patriots offense once again and he has scored three touchdowns in his last two weeks. It appears as if Tom Brady has finally remembered that Welker is his friend.

Not Hot

QBs

Peyton Manning – Indianapolis Colts – Manning aint hot right now folks. He threw zero touchdowns three weeks ago and despite throwing for good yardage and six touchdowns in his last two games, he has throw seven picks in two. His numbers might be HOT for some but for Peyton, they are as NOT HOT as we`ve ever seen.

Matt Schaub – Houston Texans – I`m not saying that he has been bad but most of you drafted Schaub as your QB1. He has averaged just 216 yards passing in his last two games and thrown just three touchdowns over that span.

Brett Favre – Minnesota Vikings – Welcome back to the NOT HOT list Mr. Favre! In his last three games, Favre has averaged just 183 yards passing, has thrown just one touchdown total and has thrown four interceptions over that span.

RBs

Darren McFadden – Oakland Raiders – What the hell happened here? McFadden rushed for 14 yards against Pittsburgh, then two yards against Miami! He has been getting some yards through the air but there is no denying that his rushing totals are NOT HOT.

Adrian Peterson – Minnesota Vikings – AP finally scored a touchdown in Week 12 but then left with an ankle injury. Still, in his last four games, Peterson has averaged just 60 yards rushing and has scored just twice. Add in a balky ankle and AP is NOT HOT.

Steven Jackson – St. Louis Rams – Jackson has not scored in his last two games and is averaging just 63 yards rushing in those two –NOT HOT.

LaDainian Tomlinson – NY Jets – It’s a good thing for LT’s receiving totals because his rushing numbers are NOT HOT. He has averaged just 49.3 yards per game running in his last four and has not seen the end zone in any of those games!

WRs

Percy Harvin – Minnesota Vikings – Time to fake a migraine Percy! In his last two games, Harvin has averaged just 22 yards receiving and he has not hit pay dirt once – NOT HOT!

Anquan Boldin – Baltimore Ravens – Boldin has been a disappointment in his last two games. He has not scored in either and in each has caught just three passes and averaged 28 yards receiving – NOT HOT.
