Dave B has previewed every game and come up with a list of players that could start for your Fantasy squad. Take a look and let me know what you think!

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 New England at Buffalo 1:00 PM

Tom Brady, Wes Welker and Rob Gronkowski are all obvious starts but Deion Branch cannot be ignored either. Benjarvus Green-Ellis could be a sneaky flex in this game. For Buffalo, Ryan Fitzpatrick is good to go in a shootout along with Stevie Johnson and even David Nelson. Fred Jackson has become a weekly start but temper your expectations just a little bit.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 San Francisco at Cincinnati 1:00 PM

This one smells like a low scoring game. About the only 49er that I would consider right now is Frank Gore and I don’t even love him that much. For the Bengals, Cedric Benson could have a good day along with AJ Green. Jermaine Grasham is a decent TE start this week as well.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Miami at Cleveland 1:00 PM

Daniel Thomas has emerged and should be the lead back in Miami officially – start along with Brandon Marshall for the Fins. Cleveland has nobody on the Fantasy radar except for Peyton Hillis who earns a start based on the touches he will receive.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Denver at Tennessee 1:00 PM

The Broncos are banged up. Brandon Lloyd, if he plays is a good start and Waiver Wire darling Eric Decker may be a play here too – just don’t be surprised if Decker is a one week wonder. I am staying away from the Broncos running game right now. If Moreno is ruled out however, Willis McGahee becomes a good start. For Tennessee, I think this is the week that Chris Johnson finally breaks out – start. Kenny Britt is obvious and Nate Washington is a decent flex.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Detroit at Minnesota 1:00 PM

Time to jump on the Detroit Express. Matt Stafford, Jahvid Best, Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson are all great starts this week. The Vikings have nobody I trust except for the Stud Adrian Peterson.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Houston at New Orleans 1:00 PM

I like Matt Schaub this week to have a good game along with Andre Johnson of course. The RB situation is cloudy at best for the Texans – monitor the situation to determine the best starter. For the Saints, Drew Brees is obvious while Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem are good flex players this week. Darren Sproles could be productive in PPR leagues as well.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 NY Giants at Philadelphia 1:00 PM

The Giants offense looks out of sync and now they have to play Phili.! Hakeem Nicks is about the only Giant that I fully trust right now although Ahmad Bradshaw could be an OK RB2. For the Eagles, I am assuming that Michael Vick starts and am plugging him into my lineup. LeSean McCoy, DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin should also be in lineups. [ad-8469823]

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Jacksonville at Carolina 1:00 PM

We will see Blaine Gabbert at QB for Jacksonville – stay away from the passing game. Maurice Jones-Drew is the only Jag that I would touch. For Carolina, I am buying Cam Newton and giving him a start along with Steve Smith, That’s about it for this game.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 NY Jets at Oakland 4:05 PM

This should be an interesting game. Santonio Homes and Dustin Keller are starts for sure but if stuck, Mark Sanchez could be OK as well. For Oakland, the passing game still scares me – Denarius Moore could boom or bust. Darren McFadden continues to be rock solid however.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Baltimore at St. Louis 4:05 PM

Ray Rice is obvious but I think Anquan Boldin plays a part in this game as well. Joe Flacco will put up just OK numbers. The Rams are a mess on the injury front. Sam Bradford should have the game in his hands and could be OK this week indeed. Mike Sims-Walker and Danario Alexander could be good as well but they are a risk.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Kansas City at San Diego 4:05 PM

Sit all Chiefs until further notice! Start all Chargers until further notice! Rivers, Matthews, Tolbert, Gates, Jackson and even Malcolm Floyd will all be productive.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Green Bay at Chicago 4:15 PM

These teams traditionally have low scoring battles. Still, Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings and Jermichael Finley have to be in lineups. Jordy Nelson warrants some flex consideration as does James Starks. For Chicago, the only player that I trust fully is Matt Forte.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Arizona at Seattle 4:15 PM

Kevin Kolb, Beanie Wells and Larry Fitzgerald will have good games for Arizona. Nobody will have a good game for Seattle!

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Atlanta at Tampa Bay 4:15 PM

Atlanta on the road is a scary proposition but I am still high on Matt Ryan, Michael Turner and Roddy White and even Tony Gonzalez. Tampa has started slowly. LeGarrette Blount should score this week and Mike Williams is one that I am counting on to finally break out.

Sun, 25 Sep 2011 Pittsburgh at Indianapolis 8:20 PM

I like Big Ben in this one along with Mike Wallace obviously. Rashard Mendenhall will be good this week too. I am staying away from all Colts. Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark may be just OK.

Mon, 26 Sep 2011 Washington at Dallas 8:30 PM

Believe it or not, I would start Rex Grossman against Dallas`s brutal secondary. Santana Moss and Fred Davis are quality starts but I have no idea what to make of the RB situation in Washington – I am avoiding for this week at least. For Dallas, Miles Austin is out. Dez Bryant and Jason Witten become automatic. Tony Romo is a good start as well but the running game has yet to impress me – sit.

its a tough week to know what to start please help

Who do I start as my flex in non-PPR league: Welker v. Bills or Marshall v. Browns?

Who do I start as my flex in PPR league: Mike Thomas v. Panthers; Davone Bess v. Browns; or Jacoby Jones v. Saints?

Darrellwarren25,

Quite a collection of average talent you have there!.

As for your question, I wuld defeintely go with Harvin over Simpson – a shootout is certain against Detroit.
At RB brandon jacobs is likely the best bet to score a td and for flex, thomas jones based on the number of touches he is certain to receive.

Good luck and thanks for the question.

Dave B

Bpwinkler,

I think Welker has the better chance to see the end zone – start him based on that.

In your PPR league, I would go with Mike Thomas as the most reliable target. I know Blain Gabbert is the QB but he is going to have to throw to keep up with Cam Newton and the Panthers.

I hope this helps!

Dave B

thanks for the help and i have so many average because it is my first year and had no idea what i was doing but i have to say they have been good to me so far this year

Re65406,

If Dez Bryant plays he is automatic. I think he is good top fo but look at the friday practice schedule just to be sure
