It’s fantasy playoff time! Injuries, poor matchups and some underwhelming play by a few FF Studs makes Week 14 a difficult one to prognosticate. Below is a breakdown of every game this weekend and which players from those games should help you advance to the next round.

Enjoy Dave B’s Fantasy Matchups – Start and Sit Week 14 and don’t hesitate to send me a query or two!

Cleveland at Pittsburgh 8:20 PM

You would be crazy to start anyone from the Browns at this point of the season. If you are one of those crazy few, Greg Little may be the only one worth taking a shot on. The Cleveland running game is a huge mystery again. For the Steelers this smells a bit like a letdown game in Fantasy purposes especially – Cleveland is actually OK defensively. Still, start Roethlisberger, Mendenhall and Mike Wallace this week. If you are stuck for a Tight End (Fred Davis!), Heath Miller is an OK option. Pittsburgh’s defense is an obvious play.

Houston at Cincinnati 1:00 PM

Ugh – poor Houston. Arian Foster is the only dependable Texan this week – Owen Daniels may be OK if absolutely desperate. For the Bengals, against Houston’s very tough defense I don’t mind Andy Dalton but love AJ Green this week. Jermaine Gresham is also a good play.

Minnesota at Detroit 1:00 PM

We still aren’t sure about Adrian Peterson’s availability for this week – if he plays obviously start him! Christian Ponder has been good lately and could start for your Fantasy team in a game that the Vikings are absolutely going to have to throw. Percy Harvin is a good bet to produce this week as well. For the Lions, Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson have to be in your lineups. Nate Burleson is the other Lion that I would bet on having a good game. Stay away from the Detroit running game – it is a clustered mess at the moment.

New Orleans at Tennessee 1:00 PM

Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham are absolutely unbenchable at the moment – start! Marques Colston and Lance Moore are the best receiving options although their production is inconsistent. The rushing touches are being split between four players at the moment –scares the hell out of me! Darren Sproles is likely the best option there. For the Titans, Chris Johnson is on some sort of roll and will be fine again this week. Matt Hasselbeck can be considered an emergency starter as well.

Philadelphia at Miami 1:00 PM

Mike Vick will return this week – you have to start him don’t you? Jeremy Maclin should return too – start him! I also like LeSean McCoy of course and I like DeSean Jackson believe it or not. He is a different player with Vick in the fold. Brent Celek is an OK play if you had Fred Davis! For Miami, I like Reggie Bush this week and Brandon Marshall – Matt Moore as an absolute desperation play.

Kansas City at NY Jets 1:00 PM

Sit all Chiefs – period! For the Jets, Shonn Greene looks like a good play – just don’t expect a repeat of last week. The rest of the Jets are a tossup – Plaxico Burress and Santonio Homes are good flex options but to rely on them as a #1 may be a bit much. Sanchez is brutal and is killing Holmes and Burress. New England at Washington 1:00 PM

As always, start Tom Brady, Wes Welker and Rob Gronkowski – Deion Brach as a flex. Benjarvus Green-Ellis may be an OK flex option but he has been too inconsistent for my liking. I may start Rex Grossman against the Patriots brutal defense this week along with Santana Moss and Jabar Gaffney, especially with Fred Davis suspended for the year. I think Roy Helu has an OK game here too.

Atlanta at Carolina 1:00 PM

I am not sold on Matt Ryan at all these days – there has to be better options. That said, I would start Julio Jones, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez – never bench your Studs! Michael Turner has been shaky as of late but I would take another shot with him this week as well. For the Panthers, Cam Newton obviously starts along with Steve Smith. Everyone else is a risk – this team is a two-man show (one man really!)

Tampa Bay at Jacksonville 1:00 PM

It is hard to trust anyone on these two teams but if forced, I would use LeGarrette Blount and Kellen Winslow Jr. – that’s it for Tampa. For the Jaguars Maurice Jones-Drew has to be in your lineup!

Indianapolis at Baltimore 1:00 PM

Sit all Colts this week – if I had to choose one to gamble with, it would be Pierre Garcon – everyone else is an extreme risk this week. For Baltimore, expect Ray Rice to rip it up again this week. Anquan Boldin and maybe Ed Dickson are the only other two Ravens I would consider– Torrey Smith if stuck and the Ravens defense start of course!

Chicago at Denver 4:05 PM

Every Bear is on my bench this week! For Denver, Tebow and McGahee are legitimate starters. Eric Decker may be OK but he is too risky for my blood!

San Francisco at Arizona 4:05 PM

For the 49ers, Frank Gore has been struggling as of late but he is automatic against a brutal Arizona defense. Michael Crabtree and Vernon Davis also get the starting nod this week. As always, the 49ers defense is an excellent play. For Arizona, Larry Fitzgerald is the only Card worth using – period!

Oakland at Green Bay 4:15 PM

Everyone gets into a shootout with Green Bay so if you are an extreme gambling sort, Carson Palmer may be worth a look – I personally would stay away though. Michael Bush, Denarius Moore and Darrius Heyward-Bey could be OK this week but I am staying away from everyone other than Bush. For the Packers its obvious – Rodgers, Jennings, Jordy Nelson and Jermichael Finley are as obvious as it comes. James Jones is someone to consider but looks more like a WR4 to me.

Buffalo at San Diego 4:15 PM

San Diego’s defense has been brutal as of late making Ryan Fitzpatrick an OK desperation start and Stevie Johnson a good WR2/3 option. That’s it for the Bills. Something tells me that Philip Rivers has turned the corner – start him along with Ryan Matthews, Antonio Gates, Vincent Jackson and Malcolm Floyd. I think that there will be plenty to go around!

NY Giants at Dallas 8:20 PM

Start Eli Manning, Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks – they are all on fire! Jake Ballard may be an OK Tight End option this week as well. For Dallas, Tony Romo, DeMarco Murray, Jason Witten, Dez Bryant and Laurent Robinson deserve a start this week. Miles Austin will return this week and deserves a serious look as well.

St. Louis at Seattle 8:30 PM

The Seahawks have been playing well! Marshawn Lynch is as automatic as they come in Fantasy right now and the Hawks defense deserves a start as well. Golden Tate is my pick to score this week and could be an OK flex if you are a gambling man/woman. For St. Louis, I am starting absolutely nobody – nobody!
