Before a one-point loss at Denver on Thursday night, Dallas had won 10 straight games. Trends I’m liking for this matchup include DAL are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall. Mavericks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win. Mavericks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. HOU are 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 home games. Rockets are 8-18 ATS in their last 26 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Rockets are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600. I see Saturday’s matchup as a back-and-forth battle that could come down to the final shot. Dallas will make the plays down the stretch for the cover.
