The Argos are currently in the midst of a horrendous five game losing streak while the Tiger-Cats will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing second half meltdown at Calgary last week.

There is not a whole lot to like about the Toronto Argonauts at the moment. The aspects of the game that thrust them into an Eastern Conference final last season simply are not the same this year. Corey Boyd has been injured and Chad Owens has yet to regain the kick return form that separated Toronto from every other CFL team last season.

One thing remains the same however – the brutal Cleo Lemon is still starting quarterback. Despite 314 yards passing and two scores last week, as long as Lemon is at the helm Toronto is a second rate team. [ad-4437448]

Toronto`s once stout defense has also been a disappointment and has led to Orlando Steinhauer being brought in to coordinate the squad. Hopes are that Steinhauer can ignite a defense that has been shredded to the tune of 407 yards per game this season (nearly 130 yards on the ground) and was lit up for over 500 yards last week against Montreal.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats could be 5-1 if not for a couple of prolonged lapses in a couple of their losses this season. Truth be told, this team looks pretty good. Avon Coubourne was terrific addition to this team finally giving the Cats a decent rushing attack and the team thinks so much of their young receiving corp. they gave up on perennial All-Star Arlan Bruce.

Kevin Glenn leads the CFL with 10 tds. this season and the defense is more than holding its own. It`s good to be a Tiger-Cat fan despite a pedestrian 3-3 record.

CFL Betting Trends:

Under is 18-7 in TOR last 25 games in August.
TOR are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games in August.
TOR are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 Sat. games.
Under is 7-1 in HAM last 8 vs. East.
Under is 17-5 in HAM last 22 home games.
HAM are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs. East.

Betting Prediction:

The Cats are 2-1 SU and ATS at home this season and are 4-2 SU and ATS in the last six games against Toronto. There is no doubt about who the class of Ontario is this season.

A bad Argonauts team will be exposed once again on Saturday and will tumble to a very surprising 1-6 record.

This game won’t be close!

Pick: Hamilton Tiger-Cats -7.5
Parlay With Calgary Stampeders -3.5
