The Missouri Valley Conference had been the media darling on Selection Sunday during the middle part of this decade. The conference would receive multiple tournament bids and was able to shed the label of mid-major for most of the decade.

There have been 3 teams that have established themselves as odds on favorite to win the NBA Championship, with a couple just outside the elite 3, and a couple other hopefuls. The Lakers, Cavs, and Celtics, all within a single loss of each other, are going to be in a dog fight for what will be a critical home-court advantage.
With the final month of the College Hoops regular season now at hand it’s important to get a pulse on how teams are performing both at home and on the road this campaign.

But once conference play opened up things went south and they dropped their first two games to Illinois and Penn State, both middle-of-the-road teams in the Big Ten.
The NBA season is a long one and because of this presents a number of NBA Picks angles through the year. Some prescribe to the back to back game scenerio betting where they fade a team playing for the second night in a row! Other’s look to capatilize on teams playing their last game of a long road trip (more than 5 games) as an angle to play against.
One of the greatest Super Bowls of all-time is behind us, so it’s time to move on to matters basketball – but we’d be remiss if we didn’t throw in an extra factoid for Sunday’s Pro Bowl: When in Hawaii, NFL players and guests stay at the fabulous JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa on the Leeward Coast of Oahu.

The Los Angeles Lakers are still the favorite to win the NBA Championship even with Andrew Bynum’s latest injury.
Bynum will be out 8-12 weeks after tearing a knee ligament, but the Lakers are still the 2:1 favorite to win the NBA Championship at Sportsbook.com. Three Eastern Conference teams are next on the title list with the defending champion Boston Celtics at 5:2, the Cleveland Cavaliers at 11:4 and Orlando Magic at 6:1.

Admit it. Pittsburgh and the under were the rights sides of the Super Bowl.
That’s not a lot of solace for anyone who played the Steelers -7 and / or under 46.5.
In fact, those tickets are as worthless as the majority of the Super Bowl commercials. (Lame.)
Let’s take a look at how my Top 25 CBB rankings compare to those of the AP and the USA Today rankings. We’ll give you some insight down below on who we think will be moving up the ladder and who we think will be moving down. I’m currently 43-27 61.4% this year in College Basketball after finishing 72-36 67% and documented #1 last year in College Basketball action.
It’s been a relatively uneventful buildup to Super Bowl XLIII between the Pittsburgh Steelers (14-4, 11-7 ATS) and the Arizona Cardinals (12-7, 12-7 ATS). Most of the major storylines have dissipated: Hines Ward is going to play, Anquan Boldin is in a good mood, there’s been nothing in the way of bulletin board material, even action on the NFL betting board has been predictable.
Dayton Flyers and an Early Exit
The Dayton Flyers will probably make the NCAA tournament because their record is 18-2 but if you take a closer looks at the Flyers you will see that they will probably not make it past the 1st weekend maybe not day 1. Dayton should be really worried about there weak schedule as the strength of schedule is 143rd. They were able to defeat Marquette and Auburn neutral courts early in the year and also have a home win against Miami, Oh.
