The 2014-15 NBA betting season is approaching with as much hype as any campaign in recent history. Why the hype? Not only are people beyond curious to see how the Cleveland Cavaliers play upon LeBron James’ arrival, but fans and analysts alike are equally as intrigued by how the Miami Heat will survive in a post-LeBron world.
The Utah Jazz are going to be a fun team to watch this season. There’s a nice blend of budding stardom and raw talent, and how this group of youngsters coexists will play a big role in how much success the team can ultimately have.
The Orlando Magic are still recovering from the departure of Dwight Howard, but they’ve done an excellent job of procuring young talent throughout the process. Their 13th-place finish out East last year doesn’t do justice for the talent on this roster, and while a shot at the playoffs is still questionable, we should start to see improvement during the 2014-15 NBA season.
The Sacramento Kings are a classic example of a team that has procured talent without turning that talent into wins. This franchise hasn’t made the playoffs since the 2005-06 season, and while you shouldn’t expect 2014-15 to be the year that breaks the drought, this could be one of the most entertaining seasons we’ve seen from this group in quite some time.
