Anderson Silva defends his UFC middleweight title against Patrick Cote at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL (outside Chicago) this Saturday. Silva, who beat Rich Franklin in one round to win the championship, later beat Dan Henderson in what was probably his landmark performance as a member of the UFC.

The Devils are everything you want in an NHL team, as long as you’re not opposed to low scoring offenses. The Flyers are atrocious right now. Even writing about them in any capacity is frustrating. Look for the Devils to demolish the Flyers tonight without a hitch.

The Cleveland Browns (2-4 SU, 4-2 ATS) are trying to fight off charges that last season’s 10-6 record was a fluke. The Sprint Cup boys move to Atlanta this Sunday for the 33rd race of the season. Atlanta Motor Speedway is a 1.54 mile Oval Fast Superspeedway located in Hampton, Georgia. Here are my Top 5 drivers to win in Atlanta this weekend. We still have to wait for Qualifying and Happy Hour before finalizing our Head to Head matchups. Atlanta is normally a very good money track for us!!
Love this time of year basically half way thru college and pro football. Yesterday the BCS standings were released which I think are usually not always a good power rankings or top 10. They do take several factors into account so they are close but sometimes they are just wrong. Craig uses his power ranking to help him handicap and pick games daily. Below is Craig’s up to date top 10 for college football.
The Dallas Cowboys are again considered the class of the NFC and possibly the entire NFL. This year’s team has already seen some bumps and bruises (like a loss to the Redskins) but it is still a very talented team. In my opinion, the Cowboys have more potential than any other team in the league. However, Jerry Jones has created a virtual three-ring circus with his players.
If there was any doubts who the best team in the Big 12 is to this point, those doubts were silenced in a Texas style ass kicking of Mizzou Saturday Night. That was one of my free play winners last week in my report for you, the other was Nebraska who covered big. Take it from me, I have seen Mizzou play twice in person this season, and they are a talented and explosive team.

A – Alexander, Shaun. The incredible fall from grace has taken a potentially brief detour to the nation’s capital. The former MVP needed a job, the Redskins needed running depth, and Daniel Snyder is more than happy to spend money without thinking about it – it was a match made in heaven.
There’s no place like home for the holidays – even for Columbus Day. Home teams were 11-3 SU and 8-6 ATS last week in the NFL; home dogs won three of five games outright, led by the St. Louis Rams (+9) beating the Dallas Cowboys 34-14 and causing panic throughout the great state of Texas.
